I hope you are not basing your entire life on spec lists you find at this site.

TFT capacitive touchscreen?! The worst! I already have a device with TFT display , and my ayes are sore every time i use my device . I used to have a LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen before and it was amazing display . I think Sony should make devices with some other display.

Another way to show it is to look at the photon energy of electromagnetic waves. No need for a formula, but basically you can say that higher frequency waves has higher energy, and i mean a lot higher.
Radar has a photon energy of like 0.0001 eV (electron volts) or even less than that. But a "hard" x-ray can have a photon energy of 10 million eV, or more! These are dangerous, the short wavelengths, shorter then the size of an atom, make them able to interact with atoms, they can knock off electrons in atoms in a cells DNA which can result in cancer.
But see the energy level it needs to do this? its F'ing TEN BILLION TIMES more energy than a radar wave, which are more powerful than cellphone radio waves. Even so we can survive taking an X-ray now and then.
The lowest energy x-ray frequencies are like 1,000 to 10,000 eV, almost harmless but its still one to ten million times more energy than a radar wave, then how harmful can a cellphone wave be? Not only does it lack the required energy but it also has much too long wavelength to interact with atoms.

patilan, 04 Feb 2014This is a really nice phone, but the screen is a deal-breaker.No doubt another troll who does not know that Sony is using IPS LCD for this phone (I had no problem with the previous TFT LCD) and probably has never seen the handset even! You trolls are pathetic.
