Mine I just use it for 4 days and the phone won't turn on. I send it to the stores where I brought it for exchange, but they told me that they cannot longer exchange it because of the little scratch on the back so I sent it for repair. Imagine I just use it for 4 days. So depressed!!

I'm using this phone for month from now and i can say that is great phone. It has great specs and it runs every game i've been playing on this device. I've probobly never seen any lag on this great phone :)

Hi, 29 Dec 2015I would NOT recomment z3c. In my country price difference... moreI would not recommend z3c either, my cousin had it for 2 months then he dropped it and it completely shattered and it cost $300 to repair

sonic, 27 Nov 2015what is the best z1c , z3c ,or z5c?I would NOT recomment z3c.
In my country price difference between z1c and z5c is like 50%. Like 250 euros and 500 euros. There is no GREAT difference between these two but I would go for z1c. but it is your choice. You can spend money just to be "cooler" because u have got the latest z series phone but i'd stick to the most reasonable-z1c. Hope i helped

hello,i actual need help i got sony xperia z1 and my son sudden put the phone in his mouth and bit which cause the front screen to have a long crack from the corner.this lead the all phone to malfunction.please i need yr help.this my email ousman2859@hotmail.com

I upgraded my Z1 compact to 5.1.1 and it started loosing network connection. It indicated connected but has no service available. is this a common problem or is just mine.

I feel like my mic pickup is lower than it should be. When testing with the Sony 'Audio Recorder' app, the mic response indicator is struggling to reach 50% and if I really try it's reaching around 75%. I decided to check as multiple have suggested they can't hear me too well.
Can someone please check and report back if they can get full response with their normal talking voice volume.

I have recovered it... and it's running quite smoothly on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop build 236. Besides, any phone manufacturer when building/ creating a new phone, makes sure that the phone will last for maximum 2 years. If your phone is lasting more than that.. It simply means you have been really careful when handling your phone.

Had very bad experience with this phone, purchased the handset about one hand a half year ago now mother board, battery and display everything is gone. Sony is asking Rs 18000 to repair it. Highly disappointed with this brand even an 8000 phone will have better performance.

I upgraded mine to android v5.1, and I like it, very satisfied with this phone

The camera is good... It maybe a bit challenging at first to look for the best settings for different scenes, but once you get to know it, shots will be great. the design is elegant; the music player is awesome!!! I love the equalizer is...THE BEST. Clear highs, mids and deep bass. It can never be compared to Samsung's nor iPhone's. The data connection is SUPER. I also used Samsung S4, LG, iPhone and an older Sony Ericsson phone model, but the Xperia Z1 Compact tops them all. Did you say BATTERY? Yup, this phone has different stamina modes that extends your use of the phone. With regular use including data usage, it took 2 days before I charged my phone.

Now this phone has been a great and reliable companion for nearly two years, but the latest software updates wreak havoc on it's battery endurance. Android 5.1.1 / build 368 is a bit better than 5.0 but it's nowhere near the original battery life. Rather disappointing, really.
Sony may not deliver Marshmallow to the Z1 generation, but I sure hope they come up with a 'final' update that's better than this!
