Upgrade to Lollipop 5.1 at your own risk. My cellphone is barely a month old. It used to last 60 hours between charges. After upgrade, it lasted only 24 hours between charges. My old Samsung Galaxy S3 mini lasts longer and I have had this phone for more than two years.

need to.improve camera, captured pic not clear like 20.7 MP expected. some zooming on captured picture, pixel are broke , and not clear.like expected, with flash picture black pixel coming on this, and not clear. so disappointed.. after that buy 34000. I used it 1yr but no improved on update. why Sony take it casually..

Jacob, 30 Aug 2015i brought the phone last week, then i found a problem when ... moreHi Jacob, I had the same problem every now & then, since the beginning. Sensor wasn't working properly from the beginning. when in call, the screen used to turn-on & then lots of keys used to get pressed, apps got opened & so on. When I went to the service center, they said its working fine. I couldn't prove it there, as it doesn't happen all the time. Now almost at the end of my warranty period, I have finally submitted my phone, under warranty in service center for problems on sensor, audio jack problem & GPS problem. Now Sony has to replace me with a new piece as it is a non-repairable handset.Try your luck if you have warranty.

This phone is awesome superb after the Lollipop 5.1 Update is even better and faster than before I love my Xperia Z1Compact

There is no shortcut in vribration/scilence/airplane mood
And some time when use camera and when phone power on it seems ''androaid'' is upgrading and heating much.
Is it any problem or after upgrade it is normal,,,,,
Please say my friend... Who already upgrade it.

Updated the phone to 5.? no problems ran great. It is NOT a water resistant phone, assembly quality on my first one was very poor. Micro USB connector was very much out of alignment with the case. The magnetic docking connector fell out, revealing that it was never remotely water proof. Almost no sealant behind it a great way for water to enter. Camera button so small as to be worthless. I still like the phone though, not sure why?

for those muzic lover,better DON,T TRY to buy this Z1c.
1.the phone automatically reduce the volume when sound is high.reason is hearing safety warning.
2.the headphone selection(accessory setting) is totally disappointment, look like not working properly after update to kit kat.
other than that,its owesome.
