I just bought a z1 compact last week from an online r... morego ahead and have the phone changed if you can//////z1c on kitkat4.4.4 did have excellent battery life......i am using the phone for about a year now and untill i updated to lollipop recently there was no isssue with battery wld last more than 2 days with normal usage ..so get the phone changed .if you cannot do that then do not update to lollipop

The Z1c is more than enough. Trust me I'm using a Z1. In reality you won't find that much difference between Z1 and Z3.

Hi... I just bought a z1 compact last week from an online retailer in India(have been using it for 5 days straight now). The box seemed used and i think i got a refurbished phone but inspite of that i started using it (since i love the phone) to see if it had any major issues. And so far other than a few wifi issues i have noticed that my battery gets drained really fast compared to what others have posted online on various forums (barely lasts a whole day with average usage) even after optimizing everything ranging from disabling and deleting apps to settings tweaks and minimum brightness. I updated it to the latest kitkat version and didn't go to lollipop yet since i read it has many issues. This phone was manufactured way back in september 2014. So could that have affected the battery or is it because its a new phone and the battery needs time settling in?. I am really confused as to what to do. Can someone please advice if i should try exchanging or changing the phone?. Any reply would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Have been using this handset for 6 months now... No water issues, it survived sea water!! The phone doesn't lag at all, rear screen protector is recommended tho It doesn't crack but scratch

Hello everyone I need your opinionz, which should I buy, Z1 Compact or Z3 Compact?
Here in Malaysia, I can get the Z1C for 240USD while Z3C for 370USD.
I really love the Z1C for its Pink colour but I don't want to miss the upgraded function of the Z3C, I am really sad that there is no Pink Color for the Z3C.
Do you guys think I will miss a lot by buying the Z1C instead of the Z3C?

Hi frnds, yesterday I dropd my phone within half feet distance and the screen was cracked little bit only for the first time after tat the crack extends and it went to a big crack and also my phone's disply was not working. Any one knows about the service centre price detail for the new display for my xperia z1compact. Pls share ur ans

I've bought my z1c just two months ago. So far the phone did great job and show excellent performance. I had no problem with the underwater taking picture and the self cracking screen so far. I'm glad i have this devive (:

I had purchased my device (Xperia Z1 compact) around November 2014 and for the most part, the device functioned perfectly, excluding a few software glitches in freezing and camera problems. However i returned from Mauritius a week ago where for the first time i had tested the under-water/ waterproof capabilities of the phone. I adhered to Sony's rules of not submerging the device further then 1.5m under water and making sure that is was fresh water when submerging the phone. I took the device into a pool where i took a few under water pictures. After about the fourth picture the phone went blank and stayed that way.
I am utterly disgruntled at my network provider (MTN) who informed me that my warranty is void and should i opt for them to repair the device then i shall be liable to repair fees in the region of R3000.00 and above.
I had adhered to every instruction that Sony stipulates prior to taking the device under water and there were no warning signs stipulating that any ports were open.
I now refuse to be a victim of Sony's **** and demand they contact me or else i will expose their ***** on the grandest scale i possibly can.

I'm glad that I own this phone.
It's a marathon runner, but all the way like usine bolt 🔩.
It's one of the snappiest phones I have seen.
WiFi range and display clarity are awesome.
Uses for underwater photography and touch response is the best I have come across.
I think only Sony can make something like this..
