AnonD-194974, 27 May 2014i just restarted the phone to see if what u'r saying is tru... moreHappened on a HTC i had some years ago, after deleting the files i had to go to settings - storage, unmount and remount the SD card, then they didnt come back. But i have a feeling this method will not work in this case, i believe these files are stored in internal storage of Z1C, not SD card, right?
It was kindof a big problem on the HTC, my wife found pictures of all my girlfriends in that HTC, big thumbnails that were "magically" restored.

headsup, 26 May 2014does xperia z1 compact run on 4g in india.yes but if any network provider start 4g with 1800 frequency otherwise only 4g support in abroad countries

User Guide says that this phone has 15.5MP(5248x2952) resulation with 16:9 aspect ratio.
But, indeed it doesn't have.
So, if u need widescreen view U have to use 8MP option, though u have 20.7MP phone.
What a sham......!

Got the Z1C for a month now. Great phone, battery life amazing, screen is good. Best smaller android on the market. Used HTC-One M8 for a bit, doesn't come close apart from speakers. Camera, you just have to play with it for a while and you'll find it's great, forget HTC-One. Two things: 1) like with pretty much any phone I've ever seen/used, forget about the headphones, just buy a decent pair yourself.
2) Backside, please SONY, for the Z2C put the same glass on the backside too. Its much better than the scratch-sensitive plastic and would simply look better. It should have glass for this price, just like for the regular Z1.
