You can easily find numerous examples of the issue, even with comparison pictures taken with another phone (of the same setting at the same moment).
No problems whatsoever in other cases, like your pictures can vouch for.

i've been using this phone for a couple of days, and overall i'm really satisfied with this phone, and for me it perform really well, the screen even though it is not 1080p like the Z1 it is really enough for the 4.3 inch display.. and the things i like is that i can use this phone the whole day with 1 charge.. (using it as a modem, while still do some work with it but not a heavy task), and it is well build, you really can feel that it is a quality product, again in my opinion.. as for drawbacks for me till now the only drawback is the loud speaker volume, all and all i'm still really2 satisfied with this phone..

And, admit it, you cant see it without zooming in, you would need to print a very big poster before anyone could notice it. For crops it may be a different story but in most cases it would have to be a very small crop before it would be visible.
On a side note, and not directed at you, i find it funny how so many people say that 720p displays are good enough and yet they want much much more when it comes to camera. Its a self contradiction 99% of the time.

champ, 05 May 2014I just want to know the camera quality of z1.can any one tell me?My personal experience about the camera of Z1 compact is not desirable! in full resolution, details are not as well as you expect. the main drawback is very soft image around the center and it looks due to lens quality. GSMARENA has noticed this issue in Z1 review too.

The built of the phone is awesome but the only problem is sometimes i have some lagging in opening the camera but this can be solved by restarting the phone. So far it only happened for 2 times, other things were just fine. Highly recommended!

zackerpunch, 04 May 2014i have this phone, 3 weeks on hand already. i used to have ... moresound is average because of the waterproofing which they already corrected on xperia z2 putting two stereo speakers in front... actually, this phone is for heavy users as well like me, try gaming, all is buttery smooth backed up with a very good battery life. everything else you said i agree with.. :)

i have this phone, 3 weeks on hand already. i used to have and use a very simple fone, that's all i wanted to have, but now (compared to using the late neo v) i prefer to look at the specs. and i was culture-shocked using this phone. the speed, no lags,very fast and efficient in battery and all what i need is here except for the sound, it has this automatically minimizing effect on the headset that i dont like when i put the volume high, especially those in rock and up-beat songs. front cam and rear are awesome, even the effects like on DSLR, really great. i recommend this fone for those simple persons who just use phones for simple calls, texts, social medias and stuff for a very average use. so far 8/10. GREAT JOB ON HERE SONY. =)
