Why in hell would Sony be so stupid to totally ignore the USA market with this phone? The USA market is the most important marketplace in the world, and this is the best small Android smartphone in the world. Please, for God's sake, give us this phone here in the USA. Your CEO is hard-headed and foolish to ignore this important market! Give us this phone and you will sell tons of them here.

Those of u who wanna go for big phones just remember that bigger screens means bigger pixels and screen resoloution and more CPU to keep the phone running which eats up battery life. And just coz the phone has a 3000 mah, that doesn't mean that the battery will last longer so technically the Z1C will perform better with battey life than most 5.0 and 5.2 phones.

I actually took a pic of it on my old phone (bb 9360) coz I was so impressed of the screen. The LG has a 5.2 inch screen, that's bigger than the Galaxy S4 which is 5.0 inch. So the phone is very big, whenever my friend uses the phone he has to use both his hands to hold it so it doesn't fall so I hope u get what I mean by big. It is very uncomfortable to work like that with a phone.The phones camera is brilliant but I did notice some lags while he was using the phone. The Z1 Compact, I'm planning to get as my bb 9360 usb port came out and now hav to replace which I'm just not doing. Its very nice in size and at 4.3 inch you can use it in one hand comfortably. It also has a very nice bright screen but the G2 screen is more dense in pixels but u won't notice the difference coz of the Triluminous display and X reality engine. The Z1 Compact camera is amazing and performace is super cool. I didn't notice any lag on it. So both phones are good I just think because the G2 has a bigger screen and more pixels, that might eat up battery life. The Z1C has a smaller screen and smaller pixels and stamina mode (which pauses all data consuming apps while the screen is off but u can still receive phone calls and msgs as they come in) and it is not full HD like the G2 so the Z1C will have better battery life. Just thought I'd help but its up 2 u bro.

With the KitKat update, the use of SD card is even more restricted (I personally don't recommend to update to KK yet, it's still buggy).
The only way you can transfer apps to SD is to root your phone, but it will (most likely) cost you the warranty (depends on the attitude of your local reseller).

sup, 21 Apr 2014for all those who have upgraded to kit kat
has the battery... moreAfter update to kitkat.
More option for camera resolution, but sometimes the camera hang.
Longer battery life.
Can no longer use any apps other than preinstalled apps to modify content in sd card like copy paste move or delete. Thats really frustrating for user who like to organize files in sd card.
Feel regret to update.
