1. Better camera resolution (20mp is still 20mp at good light it's better than 13 mp)
2. Waterproof
3. Noise cancellation compatible
4. Stereo speakers
5. Better ui (the one on one plus looks cheap, same with other cheap phones)
6.Great design and build quality (subjective. IDK which of the two is better)
One plus two over Z2
1. Larger screen
2. Faster processor which probably have heat problems

IDK what's wrong with the users here but my Z2 on 5.1.1 is blazing fast!
Just a tip. I don't have fb messenger installed. I heard that it lags any phone.
Anyway, I'm so satisfied with my phone.
BTW, it feels like it heats up more on 5.1.1 when used on heavy tasks but I just wash it with water and it solves the problem.
BTW, just a tip, most people here go are the ones with problems about their phones. Satisfied customers seldom go to this forums so be wary.

I've had my Z2 for 10 months now, was working perfectly until after a couple months after I updated to 5.0.2 lollipop, the phone started restarting itself, more frequently as time passed until it won't even power on. The phone just freezes before it finishes turning on. What could be the problem?

Having the same issue...the guy on the other end cant hear me.
Well....in reply to your problem...i wont say that it shapes up kust to any calls that i make rather even receiving calls.

I cam feel your pain. After the update my z2 performance.also heavily affected. It always lags whatever m using lik holds up for a fraction of a second whenever i scroll or play simplest of games.
I hope sony releases a quick update for the fix.

Guys...
Whats happening here..the most and important feature of the z2 is RAM and camera quality .but now the new updates makes downward of both performance.
Where is 3 GB of RAM and the 20.7mp camera ?
And this device cost is too much than z1 .
Why was a brand sony moving on wrong way to collapse its name of quality n customers satisfaction.
Im also the big fan of SONY but now..
If the next next updates creates the problems, why was they send it to the handsets ..we dont need a new speed process just want a permanent speed always and a performance of apps like a fresh one.

If someone calls me they can hear me, but when I call someone, the person can't hear me...I'm having to switch to loudspeaker mode and back to handset, only after that, can the person hear me...anyone else having the same issue???

kunal, 05 Aug 2015should I go for xperia x2 or oneplus 2 ? both the phones co... moreone plus 2 is faster than the z2 due to processor and interface, if u consume a lot of storage u shall buy the 64 gb one plus 2 ,and if u need more then z2 because of micro sd card,but remember that not all apps can be moved to the sd card .Camera quality ...i think both are good with one plus 2 better in few things like OIS , laser auto focus ,dual led flash ...but interms of the effects and options ,z2 is better it also has manual mode ....idk about the batter life ...In the end if u want a water proof phone with more features in it and u dont care about super high performance , go for z2 ... and if u want a phone with more cleaner and faster interface with a finger printer scanner , a better selfie camera , go for 1+2

should I go for xperia x2 or oneplus 2 ? both the phones cost nearly same. where sony is a top bramd with a premium design, waterproof, high resolution and camera is just amazing. whereas oneplus 2 has even better feature than that at the same price and its design is eyecatching too. Should which phone should I go for ?

I updated my z2 to 5.1.1 as soon as i got update and after every update i factory reset my phone but even after that my phone is laggy. Battery draining issue is gone with update but the phone hangs and whenever i scroll fb,whatsapp,chrome,settings whatever it is laggy. Xperia z2 m feeling was a bad choice i made. I dont what i shuld do next. Big money wasted...

I bought this phone 2 months ago.
I updated it to lollipop 5.0.1. It was facing battery drain issues.
Now i upgraded it to 5.1.1 now the draining issue gone but the phone lags like crazy. Facebook,chrome,messnger whatever i scroll or open is laggy.
I am starting to hate my phone jst 2 months after the purchase. Will downgrading to kitkat help friends??
