AnonD-606783, 29 Dec 2016Don't buy this phone, after 1.5 years the screen dies.... g... moreI have the same problem on Z2...there is a Purple staff in my screen and i thought it was an LCD then i took it in so the lcd can be changed,,,they did changed the LCD but still thiose purple staff still there... The Guy who was fixing it told me to take it to Home (At Sony factory)...i havent do that bkoz am sure its gona cost me a fortune.
If someone can help I will apreciate that

I made the attempt to use a Samsung J7, but it was a nightmare, it's crap and it's not smart at all. I went back to my z2 and when I see the characteristics of the new phones I see that my equipment is the same or better in most aspects. Now I just ordered a Xiaomi redmi note 4, Ram 3Gb (same as the z2), 64GB of internal storage and a 4100mA battery that offers less autonomy than the z2, but with similar performance, we will see that such when Arrive, meanwhile I continue with the Xperia z2

Now I am using Sony z2 past 2 years, so I got bored so I am thinking to change my phone and searching other phones in net,
But result is my Sony z2 is far far batter than other phones.
Past 2 years no hanging problems, no any complaint except battery backups,
Sony z2 awesome product

I don't know, but my Z2 doesn't take quality back camera images like before. So frustrating

dhita di jawa, 02 Jan 2017my xperia z2 screen is now useless, so the phone is also us... moreFactory reset your device. Not before you make copy of your files. All good again. The version of Android OS doesn't change after reset. Your apps will automatically reinstalled and updated.

my xperia z2 screen is now useless, so the phone is also useless.
even 0 second after restart, the first icon move to left and down by it self and phone randomly open apps.
how to fix this? my friend told me to replace the screen, but replacing screen is too expensive for me.

Me too using this phone for 2y now and have not any problems. My phone still waterproof. I testest right now.

Ive been using it for two years. Still working fine. Camera is superb,speed is awesome,battery last long enough,. I got nothing to complain apart from that simcard cover which comes of after few month,cuz I plug it in and out frequently for charging. I didnt have any 'location undetected' issues, the gps works just fine when i use navigation for driving.

AnonD-183089, 08 Dec 2016Z2 for sure for better performance and battery lifeIt breaks after 1.5 years, google about ghost touches in Xperia Z2 and you'll see, after re installing android 5 times "to fix the problem" in 2 months I had to let my Z2 go :(
