Worst phone I have ever owned. Glitchy, slow and not robust at all. I am so disappointed with this phone. I has never worked properly but because the issues were erratic I couldn't get it fixed under warranty. I dropped it once, had a tiny crack in the corner and the phone stopped responding except for a small area of the touch screen. My son dropped his phone and it is almost shattered but it still works. I would never buy another one. Nothing worked as promised and it came with so much sony software I barely had room to fit my stuff. Don't buy one!

COMING TO SCREEN,Z2 HAS THE BEST QUANTUM DOT IPS DISPLAY.SO U GET MORE BRIGHTNESS N ACCURATE COLORS IN Z2.I have personally compared z2 and htc one and saw that z2 is much better.hope i helped u.
as for battery, z2 is best.people who tell battery drains have not done a hard reset after updating to lollipop to remove kitkat files;-)

Hai friends, anyone help me? I am going to buy htc desire eye or xperia Z2. What to buy? I heard major issues of z2 fast draining battery and heat quickly. Is not htc desire eye better than z2?

I am using Xperia z2, also i update my device now version is lollypop 5.0.2
My problem is hitting, when i playing 3d games like modern combat 5 blackout, device going very hot within 5 minutes,upper side also screen.even when i playing Hungry shark device become very hot within 5 minutes.
Otherwise everything is good.

AnonD-391115, 30 Apr 2015is it true, that Sony Xperia Z2 has it's self cracking issue? No, it wont be cracked automatically. But screen does not have better scratch resistant like other Sony models (SP or M2 or Neo) Back panel is plain glass; mine get scratched, when simple put into my tight jeans. Front glass is Ok. But not good scratch resistant like Gorrilla. I have been using xperia SP last 3 years no scratch. Z2 uses Dragon tail, which is not better than sony's old scratch resistant glass or Gorilla
