Just updated to LP, no software issues. But cant see any big changes. Some applications icons are changed. Screen button and notification bar icons are charged. Old icons were looking good. It looks like sony kept stock ROM interface. Application drawer and systems user interface were good. Now its not. Phone interface looks like some other low range phone. Never expected from sony that they just put the Stock ROM without modifying interface. This update was really waste. Planing to downgrade. Any suggestions?

I have bought it in JUly 2014 from USA. just updated it to lollipop (5.0.2). Till now i dont have any problem. Working great.

laynel, 15 Apr 2015Hi guys is it safe to update it through wifi only?If your wifi/data speed is more than 1mbps, try directly from phone. If not, use PC companion as it will resume download nextday/time, if the connection fails.

Just updated to lollipop (india )....its simply superb....improved Ui, better performance and battery life.no overheating issues.The best smartfone is now even better :)

Can I update directly from 4.4.2 to Lollipop (5) directly, without having to do the 4.4.4 update? My update center is only showing the 4.4.4 update.

Okay...i will try to give you a full change log and review of 5.02
Hmm...well the shortcuts on top of the screen has changed. The contacts look a lot different.
The ram consumption is far better optimized now. You can have 1.7 GB free almost all the time.Battery life has increased for sure.
Overall no bugs....Make sure to turn off Google now and any other unwanted apps to pre long your battery.

But now im using xperia z2 it because that's have a good design compare to S5 and I hope this year i buy S6.
