I bought a Z2 last week after several days of searching on gsmarena, before buying it i was afraid of the UI color and brightness quality compared to samsung models, but i do not regret my choice, the ui is great, good building materials, perfect screen size, really good battery life with a very useful stamina mode option which make the phone battery last more than a week!, for the camera there is no need to talk on it as the sony brand name is suffisent. For those who are hesitating between z2 and z3 i advise them to save their money by buying z2 because there is almost no difference between the two models

I am from India & own Z2. Few days back i received the notification to update my phone to lolipop, but i cancelled it. Now when i am trying to update it, i cant see any notification. I have also tried the PC software but no success.I have even tried to recover the software using PC software.Please help!

Xperia z2 update 23.1.A.0.726 firmware is the latest and it has eliminated most of the known bugs...

I have been using Xperia Z2 for about 8 months before I owned Xperia Z for more than one year then upgraded to Z2 ( that's still working) but I never faced any self cracking issue, or water going inside issue they all fake caused by user mistake but they claim it's manufacturing fault, when I heard self cracking screen of Z I was so affraid that even mine will break but that never happened still its going good when I upgraded to Xperia Z2 again users claimed that Z2 isn't water proof water will get inside when you take it inside pool or to shower, i took them too shower more than 100 times and went to pool lot of times but never water went inside, it's all user fault who took mobile inside pool without closing flaps, the screen broken cause of it dropped badly or idiots placed mobile in back packet and sit on chair ( that's how my gf broken her screen) but claiming it was manufactured fault all those lol waiting for Z4 I trust Sony

xpperria, 14 Apr 2015The best is say to xperia care local,and downgrade z2 to 4.... moreI downgraded from 4.4.4 to 4.4.2 17.1.2.A.0.314 Uk generic firmware.. As 4.4.4 was slow on gaming camera n battery consumption was bad n heat up more quickly than 4.4.2.. 4.4.2 is best for battery n games.. Haven't tried 5.0.2 is it better compared to 4.4.2 in terms of battery n performance in games ???

Guys it's been a week i'm using my z2 D6503 after updating to lolipop and i liked this 3 pros over 4.4.4
1-Smoother,faster and beautyfull UI
2-Better battery life
3-Interruption setting on calls and notifications

Now i got the update notification for my z2 D6503 in india. But the update notification is showing version 23.1.A.0.726

From Cambodia, but not by OTA by PC Sony Compinion instead..

The best is say to xperia care local,and downgrade z2 to 4.4.2. not to upgrade software again,upgrade make the phone crazy. The best of z2 is on4.4.2. Any people did downgrade to 4.4.2?

wifi is not turning on. button is in light blue state & won't turn on.I have done everything. factory reset, etc.this is really disappointing. i have been a sony user since 2008. but i stopped using sony because of the software issues i have faced when i had xperia S & P. but Z series was a hit, so i switched from samsung to this. but i still see software issues during the long run. i'm so disapointed. i really like this phone. i might not buy sony again. I have spent whole 2 days trying to fix this. since i'm an android developer , i have tried every possible option but in vain.

anyone has the build number 23.0.1.A.3.12(Kitkat)? those who cant update their software?
