I by Xperia Z2 in Jul'15. Since then most of the time it remains at service center. But still my problem of mike didn't resolve. Its mike sensitivity is very bad. I got frustated now.
Even if you can't talk to anyone with clear voice. There is no use of a phone. Disgusting phone.

Guys, I am a little bit confused. Everyone told that Z2 is awesome, but the vibration of the phone is really weak, the volume is a bit low and the flash on the back, hmm much weaker than the flash on my prev s3 flash. I got android 6.0.1. I read that there was an option earlier to modify the power of the feedback/vibration power, but not in 6.0.1. Any advice?

I'll be getting a Z2 as soon as I can ^. ^ I like Sony better than LG.
Just an advice for anyone planning to buy a new smartphone like Z2, Z3 or older models through EBay or Ali Express:
Most of the units listed as new, aren't. These are refurbished units. You better pick one that's listed as refurbished, or buy an used unit from the local market using OLX or so.
A friend of mine got his "new" Z3 from Ali and it had a modified main board of an original Z3 to make it look and work like D6603. When he flashed it to root it he hard bricked it, because it was a different version, and the files he had were for the D6603. Now it's dead.
I opened the back cover of his Z3 and saw the parts like ear piece, loudspeaker, main flex, and the whole screen with its frame were generic parts. Not original Sony parts. The back cover was also a generic one, which looks just like the original except in the lens that covers the led flash. This can cause the pictures taken with flash to turn out with an ugly halo on the right lower corner.
I know about original parts and spare parts because I work as a smartphone technician. I didn't check all of the parts, but the only one I saw was original was the battery, and maybe the camera.
So, beware!

Would you elaborate a little more about the Z2? How... moreI can't really remember the exact amount of on-screen time, but I guarantee you it is among the best you will have seen in a phone, only the Z3 compact has better longevity than the Z2 in terms of popular phones from big brands.
As I said, I could get through the day no matter what, usually I would charge once every 1.5 - 2 days, and that is with me being a heavy user, I still remember how amazed I was with the battery when I first got the phone, since I was coming from a phone with an abysmal battery life.
For a year and a half, the battery lasted pretty well, but I'm gonna buy a new one these days, it seems depleted now.
Regarding heating, that usually occurs when you record videos, or play heavy games, but since I seldom do any of the above, I don't really have much of a heating problem with it.
Another thing is, reading reviews on the internet, I was scared about the front/back glass cracking easily if I dropped it, and maybe I've gotten lucky, but I've dropped my phone like 50 times, and it hasn't broken yet, and I hope it doesn't.
This phone is the best purchase I ever made, it's the best phone of it's generation hands down. It is easily rootable which is a must for me, and the Sony UI is the best, no laggy TouchWiz, and you can uninstall the bloatware Sony apps if you root it.
If you can get it at a good price, go for it, you won't regret it, it's still a great phone, even by today's standards. I've yet to see Sony make another phone as good as the Z2, because lately Sony's phones have been having subpar battery life, sure camera ain't the best out there, but if you're not obsessed with taking the best photos, then don't hesitate to go for it.

Been using my Z2 for 2 years now, when the battery was new, it was pretty damn good, easily get you through a day of HEAVY usage, the Z2 is probably the only Sony phone that was the best of its generation, better than Samsung, LG and HTC.

I plan to buy a brand new Z2. It's much cheaper than a new Z5. I'm using a very old Xperia ZL right now and I'm quite pleased with it. I just need a little improvement. I don't see that good investment in the Z5, for its price, right now.
I'm going to buy a Z2 or a LG V10 if the latter confirms not to be suffering from sudden death problem like the LG G4.
I kind of like Sony Xperia some more than LG, too.
