Anyone having issue with the microphone of z2, you talk and other party don't listen you properly, when I talk the other party don't listen my voice clearly

is there any way to automatically have date and time printed on every photo taken by z2 camera ?
also superior auto gives better photo or manual taking photo in 20.7 mpx resolution ?
is there HDR mode in suprior auto video and Steady shot ?

Try soft reset the phone if that dont work than try to hard reset. Maybe that would help you to solve the problem. Befor hard reseting you phone, backup your data. If that doesnt help you than contact with support on www.sonymobile.com/support/

[deleted post]Auto mode is just for fast photo shooting when you have no time to adjust photo snap settings. I prefer manual mode because you have many options to adjust your build in camera like saturation, light ambiance, exposure, gamma balance, HDR (only in 8mpix mode), deep of field and many other things. When it comes to darker/night shots it does the job very well. Only one thing here is not so good and that is the LED flash. Some say that it has poor lightning but I would say that the flash is to bright (the light is to cold). When it comes to recording you will defenetly most of the time record in 1080p 30frames or 60frames per second. You have also HDR support in 1080p 30frames but not in 1080p 60frames or 4K. TimeShift is also nice feature if you will to record 120frames per second (high frame rate videos) in 720p. I can only say that Z2 has amazing video/photo capabilities, just go for it :)

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2014Is Z2 have heating problems?In tests, phones like Xperia Z2, Z3, LG G3, Galaxy S5 etc. all phones that have newer chipsets and are also capable to record in 4K resolution have some little problems with heating but only in inside/outside temparature above 30-35 degrees celsius. What happens is that when you record in 4K, the hardware heats up dramatacly because of higher powering consumption (its still a problem in Snapdragon 805 also) and therefore the phone stops recording to prevent damage to the hardware. Do not be afraid, this problem with heat is only while recording in 4K, some users still report heating problem with gameplay or watching videos but I think thats a big lie. All phones heat up when there are some heavy graphics processes going around but they dont overheat to a point that they could damage their own hardware. I hope that I helped you a lil bit :)

my z2 is d603 . its from hong kong . its on android 4.4.2,,when i click update it says your phone is uptodate . i dont get kitkat 4.4.4 . how do i get that . someone please help !

In my opinion HTC has better UI experiance with the Sense, I have had HTC Evo 3D and the UI on the phone was just amazing. The Sense 6.0 on new HTC phones are the best UIs out there. Very important in allday usage if you ask me :). When it comes to game, video streaming, both are equal one against other, slightly better is Eye in audio quality... Its you choice mate!

Nageh, 23 Nov 2014Excuse me, Do you have any Experience about issues related ... moreFew things that you can change and test are in Option menu--->Call options--->here you have some options to change so you could maybe solve your problem. I have no issues with my Z2, when I bought it, it had installed 4.4.2 version. After a week of usage I upgradet to 4.4.4. Befor upgrading I was afraid because of those negative comments but it turned out that there is nothing to fear about. I had no problems on 4.4.2 nor 4.4.4 eather

I know many people that have Xperia phones, few from them (including myself) are Z2 and there are no problems with them (I have a black one but color has no influence). If you have still warranty just give back (again) and say that this is already the second phone that has the same problem... I dont know any other solutions, sorry

Yes you are right about (just little) focusing, laser focus is a great thing but you wont need it on Z2, it auto-focuses good (you can also tap to focuse while recording), laser focus is just a bit faster when focus an object than auto-focus on Z2. But I veeeerrryy disagree with Optical stabilisation. Z2 has a great digital stabilisation, better than I have seen on many other phones that have Optical stabilisation. If you would have a Z2 you know it...
