Hey ya'll? This sony xperia Z2 is my first sony after a number of Samsungs and I'm more than highly disappointed. When my phone dropped once, just once, I've suffered from serious network issues. Took it to the sony shop for fixing, but no changes..I'm to take it back next week and I'm annoyed!! On top of that, my wi-fi keeps dropping and refuses to connect almost all the time. On top of that, I don't get whatsapp notifications or message notifications when my screen light goes off, I have unlock it for the notification to come in. I'm HIGHLY disappointed with sony, and this will definitely be my last ever sony phone. Samsung is waaaaaay better, stronger wi-fi connection, no unnecessary network issues despite dropping my Samsung phone severally... I'm mad!! I am!!

got my xperia z2. It got ruined after a month first time dipped in the water with all tabs closed. fixed it. got ruined in 2 months and cost me 150$ to fix it back in addition to having to use a reserve nokia phone for a month. It was a good phone but i can't trust sony anymore

What about notification sound like whatsapp and sms....?it's low after update 4.4.4...

Yeah..I got Xperia Z2!! luv using this...but I doubt about its battery backup...once its been shown with 99%..within next 10 min..it shows as 96%!!
Is there any particular way to hav gud battery backup...
Rest of all..Its gud..superb!! very fast processor..!!
It lags with call reject for specific callers...any way external apps helped in it.

Hi Guys, fellow users of Z2, advice me how to avoid my phone to hang up. When it hangs nothing works; you can not receive the call, not access any function. What I do is remove the chip so that it restarts, as of now I am becoming bored. I like my phone its difficult disqualify it because of this only one thing.

hi got this phone one week back...its just an awesome..want to ask few things..
1. how to create album from within the gallery?
2. how to bring bollywood music in sony music app?
3. how to check for an update? does it inform on its own as in samsung?
4. on charging it shows orange light and when it comes to 90% it started showing green light..actually it should show green when it is fully charged ...how to fix this? is there any setting...?

Device seems to... moreI'm sorry I was mistaken: no improvements in the Tap to Wake functions were made. It's still not very consistent and responsive, quite annoying acutally. Camera does get warm when filming and taking photos but it does not overheat.
The big icons are a pain in the ass though.

I am seriously considering buying it but i heard that this phone has got some wifi issues.i have a 2.4ghz single band router on my home.will it be a problem ? users please reply :(

Updated to 4.4.4 today, update seems okay!
Device seems to be a tat faster than it already was, nicely done. Camera software functions are nice , so are the added sound enhancements. Tap to Wake function seems to be a bit more responsive to me, I like it.
However, music stutters twice whilst playing your music from Walkman when opening up the camera app, even if it was preloaded already and in the cache. Very stupid bug!
Also, the Walkman widget has been simplified on the homescreen (not lockscreen!) , as you can no longer see the duration of your songs. Pity.
The larger icons don't really appeal to me either, but I'm already getting used to it.
Most themes of the Z3 are included and now you can set your dynamic wallpaper of the desired colour you like. Unfortunately Sony didn't provide the Z2 with all the wallpapers; You'll miss out on the 'dark/black' theme, the one I specifically wanted to use on my Z2.. sigh.
So all in all the update seems okay but I had higher hopes for it. Big icons are quite childish. I'm eagerly waiting for Lollipop though.
