Just one extra note. The latest Xperia Z2 update is 650 MB and you don't even get a new wallpaper :(

Whenever they release a new version of Android, it comes with heating and battery life issues. I've just updated my Z2 and I'd rather remain with the last Android M version than going up one letter and being left updateless. See what they did to the Xperia ZL.

My phone gets switch on and switch off continuously whenever sim card is in showing the notification "sim card reinserted phone is restarting" and phone gets heated up.After removing the sim card my phone becomes normal, no switch off and switch on problem...and all the function regarding Internet,camera,music runs smoothly. What is the problem?

sultan , 18 Aug 2016I updated my z2(D6502) to marshmallow, but i am really fru... moreI just bought a used Z2, which from a speed and stability angle, is superb! Very lovely phone to use, but like you, the camera is terrible. (I upgraded to Marshmallow as soon as I purchased it.) The quality of the camera in all situations is terrible, even the 1080P video in daylight is noisy and full of artefacts. If there is any light shining towards the camera, the image is washed out. Plus it is not possible to select 4K video mode.
Is my Z2 faulty (water ingestion perhaps?), is this Marshmallow, or are ALL Z2s like this?
Such a great phone otherwise!

Im not able to multitask efficiently after Marshmallow update.

stamina mode is in 23.5.A.1.291 it also includes charging optimization
