I like many things about this phone, but comparing it to the rest on the table, I think there are 2 clear advantages over the others - being waterproof (and I mean really waterproof, not like Galaxy S5), and the sound quality coming out of it.
The screen is OK but not the best. The phone is sleek and nicely designed, but like iPhone and Samsungs, it's starting to get boring.
Where is fails miserably though is the camera department. When you stick that 20+ Megapixels mark next to camera, that builds expectations. And when comparing the photos coming out of it to some other high-end snappers, the quality is just not there. Photos are noisy, soft, and seriously lack details that even a sensor half that resolution would show.
The video camera is not that much better either. Love the idea of 4k recording and motion is smoother than most of others, but… again, the noise especially in dark areas, and the overall softness of the image ruin everything.
Panorama is a joke. And that's probably the biggest put-down, as I expected (from the way Sony marketed this) that Z2 would be Cybershot TX-5 in a phone. The sweep panorama and picture quality on that one were actually excellent, despite the toy being too small for my hands.
That's what has built up the expectations, and I really wanted to love this phone. But it just doesn't do what I expected from it, making waterproofing and sound quality really the only benefits over competition.
And that's not enough for me to keep it.
Hope Sony learns on their mistakes, stop chasing the megapixels and actually make a killer phone that lives up to the hype.

Many says that it has heating issue in 4k video recording but in samsung s5 there is no heating issue is it true

this phone is amazing...but I use my Xperia Z about a year and still looks good to me..

Just had an update for the software in the notification a few hours ago. Too early to confirm, but seems to have sorted out the vibration issue with the home keys, and typing. Will further test thiscover the next few hours and confirm.

I am intrested to by sony xperia z2 but the problem is that samsung s5 can be sold but if i want to sell this xperia z2 will it be sold so i am worried to buy this phone becuz if i buy this phone i wont be able to sell this phone like samsungs

I think so samsung s5 is better it has all features and it has 65 popurality
But someotold me that xperia z2 heating issue and its pppurality is just 40 less then s5

but i wanted to ask a question
its written 1 meter for 30 minutes or something so if i puted in a glass of water with it can stay as long as u want right?
and the 2nd thing do the phone freeze when it heat? thank you alot :D
