Is xperia z2 have heating problem?

This phone was launched in April with T-Mobile but due to Heating it was taken back, later for the very first time in mobiles they introduced the cooling pipes technology.Sony pioneered this cooling technology and I know they will only improve, it may heat the phone initially at 45-50 deg but it maintains for prolonged use.People complaining abt camera crashing, they really need to check the camera settings.

I real... moreThe overheating in this phone is same as others, higher the mAh more is heating, however this H/S was initially sold with T-Mobile in April, due to the heating problems it was taken back and new cooling technology was introduced in mobiles for the very first time!!! seems like Sony has finally started pioneering instead of Motorola.Moto has broken many technological myths in the past but it is Sony now.Way to go Sony.

3 most important things for me that makes z2 the clear winner: 1. Battery life 2. Better water ip rating 3. Premium build and design (you get what you paid for) and comes with more RAM ... again guys it's quality over quantity!

basha, 01 Jun 2014Guys I like to buy xperia z2,because I am using now xperia ... morejust wait for z3 better :) You'll find a many reasons for that ;) believe me.. I want to buy it but I think I'll go for M8 because Z2 have overheats probs, I didn't buy it yet but just take a safe move, dont burn your money.. I really scared when I watch youtube, movie and photographing it will overheat in a short time :| because many users complain about it :/

G3 still better than this, Z3 will have to be a major improvement on this, to have any chance of being named phone of the year. Please Sony NO WATERPROOFING, you're destroying the looks and sound quality by doing so.

[deleted post]The Z2 really does overheat especially 4k recording. I really think you don't have a Z2 at all. How else will you know for yourself or deny it? Show us a video of your apparent Z2 that shows it doesn't overheat. Every Z2 I tested can't surpass 4 minutes without the camera app crashing because of overheating. The MHL 3.0 is therefore useless with this problem, because you can't record longer movies.
You really went to Singapore to get it last April? Where are your pictures you said you took with your Z2? All BS to me.

OVERHEAT.
dont buy Waterproof.
Problem in Sony Xperia Z1/Z2:
1. Front and Back the Glass
2. Waterproof = Air-Tight
Result = Overheat.
Needed 5 minutes to take 10pictures.
Dont buy any waterproof phone, unless the rear cover is metallic case.

that's a very nic phone to buy........all the features work perfectly
