this looks like the perfect phone...except one thing. how big do you think the screen actually is after taking away the on screen buttons? I dont understand why, even htc have moved away from capacitive to on screen buttons which in my view ruined the look of the m8. it might of been to save money producing. if only sony had utilised the space beneath the screen for the buttons i would have been 100% sold on it.

hope that xz3 will be:
-louder sound quality
-thinner bezels
-A Better battery life like Z1Compact (a good battery life is a BIG DEAL)
-a 4.8 to 5" screen for better handling (i think flagship phones doesn't mean on SIZES )
- A FAST CAPTURE CAMERA and FAST LAUNCHING CAMERA

Asi, 16 Apr 2014Wonder who would pay 850 USD for Z2 when Galaxy S5 is at 6... moreI guess prices vary a lot from country to country. Here in Australia S5 is an astonishing rip off at $900. I bought my Z1 new for $730. I can not justify a plastic Samsung that cost as much as an iphone.

I'll be going for the LG G3 when I upgrade in July.
According to LG, the G3 will have a 16MP (which is good enough for me), 3MP front camera, it will also carry an Octacore Snapdragon 801, Of course Kit Kat and 4G, 5.5 inch Display, 3GB Ram and 4K.
So this monster will be on the top of the shelves, no doubt. Best for me is that the battery is 4000 and memory card slot is also available.

Your phone is extra good but ur Customer support stinks and sucks. Sounds like u jst dnt care abt ur clients. Ur sales and marketing deprtmnt must be reviewed. U will end up like Blackberry...Pay attention

Afraid still waiting for my Z2 and the retailer is messing me about on delivery dates (one of Sony's key partners and not a network in the UK) so have had to cancel my pre-order as they could not give me a date. Having lived with the M8 for a while now, I would opt for the Z2, the M8 scratches quite easily which is irritating beyond belief. I have scratches by the charger port and am ultra careful now plugging the phone in. On balance, even though I have not yet tried the Z2, it would be my preferred option. The M8 is a great phone and incredibly well built but having used the Z1, the Z2 really has the wow factor! Your call really.

No one buy Sony, I got my xperia Z dead and after long email thread with support they asked me to pay for new board and assured problem will not happen again, that's because the support officer said :the boards that Sony give to support centers are clear of bugs, unlike these that comes out of the factory,
that's why Sony are the worst ever.

I can't figure out which one to take, they both have advantages over the other in regards to what i need and offcourse disadvantages.
So i would love if you could share some info with me about both phones.
If so let me know and i hope we can find a way to talk at that point.
