just picked up a few days ago in taipei airport, 750 usd with dock and free flip case
camera is really well done, 4k looks great very sharp, especially on my skyworth 4k tv, but i think it is likley only 24 fps based on how smooth
can do 60fps 1080p in manual mode, the 720p 120fps is cool its called time shift and allows to to select only portions of the video to be slow mo that you want to be slow mo, ui is done well so its easy to do, normally you only want to slow down the action or event it works really well
build and hardware looks good, funny they didnt have screen protectors yet but i got a z1 screen protector and it fit well enough to be ok until the z2 onles get released
i like he notification bar light and the dock is nice stands by the bed like an alarm clock
so far speeds on chinaunicom are fast i got 18 mbps on hspda which is better then my s4 ever managed
battery life feels really good so far last night i was teathering for 12 houres and didnt charge from 50% in the morning i expected it to be dead but it was still teathered to my 8.4 pro tablet and had 10% left! Must be the more efficient 801 chipset and huge battery, i also notice on cpuz that the 801 turns off cores more agressivly then the 800 on the 8.4 pro tablet, most of the time on he z2 2 of the cores are disabeled

HTC One M8 has S801 but no 4k recording, 4k is balancing on the edge of any chipsets performance, like Exynos Octacore, they cant make it there as well. Expect S5 and Z2 to not do great recordings once you installed some bloatware and background services after some time of normal use of the phone, and pray that noone sends you a text or IM while you are recording, i wouldnt be surprised if it dropped more than 10 consecutive frames.
Its pushing the envelope.
