I think this phone is designed to be a more portable and easier to use with one hand, z2. It's about the same size as a galaxy s3 but with a 5" display, sounds good to me !

Front facing camera is only vga! While others are providing 5 to 8 mp in this heavy specs phone. I think sony think tank is mad and dont know much about market.

Sony had the chance to do something amazing with this phone, instead they royally screwed it up. The Z1 Compact was the only thing that offered customers something different, this is just like every other phablet on the market.

The rear is ugly, 11mm thick is fat for smartphones nowadays, best sony body construction is xperia z. NO WAY

Sony started with Infra red in Zl than left the good feature for samsung and HTC. Also, the water resistant cap on phone breaks within few months and won't be repaired in warranty ... I bought Z on first days... I am cursing my self.

I would buy this phone but It has WGA front facing camera therefore I will not buy it. it is very difficult to understand the sony.

This is not a compact. Forget that. I think it's more like a ZR 2. Besides, the back is terribly ugly!!! I hope i see a z2 compact! Come on sony! People is tired of big smatphones!!!!!!!!!

fugly back cover. not really a compact phone. its a downgrade from z2. sony lost his mind.
