I think this phone is a shame, nothing new, the different only speakers placement. Sony knows that Z4 does not match expectation. Thats why Sony didnt hold a big even to annouce it. Sony also does not sell it, no.. sony will not sell it only to find this product cant compete with others. IMO

LOL. How is 4k a gimmick for a 84" TV? 4k resolution in 84 inch screen would result in 52 PPI, only as much as my 40" FHD TV. Get your facts right.

I don't simply dunk my z1c in water without reason, I consider it as a safety feature. So,my phone can survive accidental drops in water. I can take the phone out even in rain without fear.

For your information, s5 wasnt the best phone of 2014, nor was s4 in 2013. Samsung isn't killing Sony in electronics, and more sales doesn't mean better device. Heck, Toyota sells more cars than BMW
Would you say Toyota is better? Samsung sells lots of phones not because of its technology, its because of their marketing strategy. Once a Samsung phone arrives, the newspapers are flooded with advertisements. And, everyone knows Japanese tech last longer than Korean. If you like Samsung devices, go buy them.

The human eye can't see anywhere near that...seems like a gimmick...and the Samsung Galaxy doesn't hang as many friends have one and they run flawlessly...Who really wants a waterproof phone, do you really want to risk putting an expensive phone underwater anyway ? Plenty of cheap HD video cams around now. And yes, you can take pics in light rain with a S6. Everything you said was just garbage, quess the truth hurts too much.

Its been proven over the years ever since the Samsung Galaxy range started. Samsung has ruined Sony in nearly all electrical items by providing better products, more advanced technology and simply what the people want. Thats why Sony has sold off its laptop and TV businesses. Probably will sell off its phone and tablet business soon as Sony is just unable to keep up or compete anymore. Its obvious that you are a die hard Sony fan, but you need to face the real truths.

There are tons of articles with water damage issue. Heck, some phones even died. And this was in fresh water. I have used my z1 compact in pools and nothing happened to it. And there are less water damage issues with xperia phones, and these are caused due to carelessness. People don't check if the flaps are secured, damage the phone, and blame Sony.
