This is basically the Z3 with an updated SoC to 64-bit, the Snapdragon 810, not much else going on. Hope they make a Z4 Compact.

let's recycle the old unsold phones and put the over heating snapdragon 810 and make the battery lower lol.

what have you been smoking sony?? same screwed up design for 4 yrs?? isn't it goin too ridiculous n so boring everywhere, cant even tell which one is which, once who was the king of designs has no new designs to offer for its products and its rivals who were so boring once are producing better designed phones... just look at S6 n edge they screw ur Z4 to the bottom...

I am happily using Z1 Compact for the last 1 year. Waiting for next Compact for new phones.

Seriously?? Ever since Sony and erricson split there has been a complete lack of innovation and rubbish camera performance for the hardware inside. owner of Xperia s. Z1 and z3. Sony never again.

I'm Z3 owner and I expected that the Z4 at least will have Wireless Charging and a Fingerprint scanner and a slightly bigger screen, 5.5 inch for example, also a better camera performance similar to the Note 4 or even a better performance. Sony provides Samsung with the sensors and Samsung delivers better pictures.I have no problems with repeating the same design, it's among the best designs on the market if not the best, Z3 already won red dot award for the design for the year 2014. Disappointed though I'm a big Sony fan and I've owned many Sony phones and other products

if htc u... morewhy do ignorant people gatecrash these forums?the bezels are for accomodating the huge camera sensor without giving a huge camera bump and to enable the user to hold the phone comfortably in landscape mode you ignorant fools.and for the matter-z4 supports high res audio and ldac codec.
and bionz is a hardware thing-thats the simplest way to put it for you all.its not a gimmick.and superamoled shit burns in after 2 years.

what has happpened to sony?still stuck in same screan resolution.but chipset,cpu,gpu &storage have changed.battery is also less than xperia z3.
