If Sony intended to go public or into the partership, they would not make such a costly flagship like Z4. Even if this happens I don't mind because this is a traditional trend in the industry and this won't degrade Sony phones

Their phones are somewhere in the middle quality, but sell...
Although I prefer LG in TV buissness the most, phones...nope, only good marketing...

They make best tech that sells just enough to be on level and not make profit...
And what does not create profit...
Just as the reporter said, limited marketing budget is the main problem....
I dunno, I still believe this is only rumor based on yearly financial report, and doesnt stand true
If they planned to ditch it, they wouldnt invest in new models...
And should adopt the xiaomi marketing scheme...which greatly reduces the production cost and maximizes profit...
On demand production is the new way for growth
Either way Xperia line will continue, on its own or through partnership, it was Sony, then Sony Erricson, again Sony, maybe it ll be Sony Nokia in near future...
And I ll always support them, as they made and still do make most innovative phones from day one of mobile phones.

Bad news about sony and probably z4 guys. I still have hopes for z4 as it is in my next smartphone list but after reading this, I think that z4 will be the last smartphone we will see from sony.

I really hope Sony manages to put thinner bezels on this one, especially top and bottom. I have the first Z, and been waiting ever since. I really need my phone to fit in my pocket. It's a goddam phone, phones should fit in pockets, not haveimg to buy purses to be able to carry them. Or at least make a 5" display compact version, since we're growing on size. A 5.2" display is ideal, but the bezels are too big!

Make 100 gb storage , 10 gb ram, 50 magapixile back cam and 20 pixIle front, 30 battery life , solar charger something big then sony will get all market so on

And it's a tough one. Although phones like samsung and lg are out of my choices, the lack of stereo speakers is a big letdown.
