And those show that, no matter what the name of sonys z3 glass is, it is as durable as htc s, because on video tests it only shatters from about 2m drop, just like m8...
So, please dont try to justify your decision to buy some phone by commenting sth you didnt really get to know or use
Sony and HTc are best today by my opinion, its just htc crapped it with its UPx camera in the past
So get what you want...

DenisXD, 19 Feb 2015Where did they say that? when they revealed z3 and a tech g... moreSony put the best camera tech alongside nokias camera tech in todays market, in that thickness ratio.Only thing Sony doesnt use is OIS, that is what creates a buldge on thin phones, but Sony makes up to it by its amazing steadyshot, which does a better job in daylight than any OIS mobile camera out there, and in lowlight conditions you only need to turn steadyshot off and change focus length to infinite to get best shots and video....
One has to know the tricks of Xperias 20mpx camera to get the best of it...cause it is in fact best camera on the mobilephone market today...
For others who just want to point and click, there is iphone

Sacrificing what quality? ... moreWhere did they say that? when they revealed z3 and a tech guy asked them if reducing the thickness reduces quality. They said that a bigger camera sensor would have been able to take better pictures indeed, but they didn't want to make z3 any thicker.
Also I don't really call quality the lack of gorilla glass.. I call it stubbornness

In a thicker device, ... moreI thinks it is just a HTC propaganda as well as their justification for not having the technology to reduce their phones thickness. It is fully understandable why they do this as HTC is a pure Chinese company. I know nowadays Chinese companies are developing and they have made high quality phones. Japan however, is a veteran in the electronic industry and some technologies are exclusively used by this Beast. Nevertheless, I am not a hatter of HTC as it is my second favorite after Sony. So, I wont give you my bad impression and strongly recommend you to buy what you want.

DenisXD, 18 Feb 2015Wrong. M9 will be much smaller than m8. The onscreen bazels... moreDo not overexagerrate, it ll be 2 mm less height and a mm thicker. That is a mm off both bezel... I wouldnt call that much smaller... It is practically the same m8 design, with new z2 alike speaker grills.

In a thicker device, a bigger camera sensor fits and bigger speakers.
Sony has admited that they are sacrificing quality in order to make their devices thiner.
M9 will be 5 inches with slimmer bazels than m8, rounder corners and gorrila glass 4. So think again, thickness is quality.

It will be just another flagship phone from Sony, with No accessory support from day 1. It will announce soon will be delivered when its outdated.
I had Z all the way to Z3, i change phones very frequently. That being said, Screen brakes like no other phone on the market and its not usable after small crack. What?
Direct support is impossible, just forget it. I cant speak for Carrier Support though.
Battery life is really bad, unless used with Stamina mode, and lower brightness.
Camera is Ok, still comparing to lower MP phones such as iphone shutter is slow, and depth of field is flat.
Build quality could be better, weight isn't well balanced.
Display on Z3 was dramatically better compared Z2 Z1 .
I wont consider this phone unfortunately.
