It is a great phone, with good battery and is working just fine.
After marshmallow update works even better but i have heating issues and battery drains faster, with lollipop 36 hours, now almost 18hours under the same condition.

I've updated my Z3 to marshmallow. And no visualizer on both music and radio apps. Anyone experienced this? Please help.

I was given this xperia Z3 but if I switch on local network internet it displays (Exit x) and nothing works again apart from Home touch button which closes all apps, tried factory data reset and still it can't even allow me add a Google account. Please help what can I do to solve this problem

I've updated to marshmallow.
1. Performance is better. No lag.
2. Antutu benchmark score is higher. Almost 60000.
3. I think battery life is the same.
4. There are battery saver instead of stamina mode.
5. No adoptable storage. But downloaded apps can be moved to SD card as in lollipop.
6. Added some new customisation items.
7. Missing visualisations in music and radio apps.
8. All features work with no issues.
9. New camera UI. Quality is the same.
10. Sound volume is higher than in lollipop.
Overall marshmallow is faster and smoother. Everything is very good and bug free. I recommend everyone to update. Don't worry stamina mode will back again in next update.

i have a big issue the top Speaker noise problem....when i touched the screen top Speaker Produce Big noise and it heating up..to much ...bt when Im using Headphone no noise found .any one faced to this problem ......Plz help me ......im Also update Lollipop to marshmallow bt problem still .....

Performance wise, this phone is superb!
But it has a shitty screen where it is easily cracked. My wife already changed the screen twice, still it cracked for a third time! Do mind that the crack was not due to droppage. Sad sad sad....

Sky, 17 Jun 2016Lollipop or marshmallow?You should update to Marshmallow, it upgrades everything such as performances, camera, heat issues, Google (Google will catch everything (pictures, news, names etc) if you press home button then it'll bring you straight to Google search), apps' permissions etc. Well you've got to try yourself, it's very recommended.

I have not had a good experience with my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. 2 weeks after the purchasing the phone last year, the screen cracked and I was without a phone for a month while it was sent to the nearest authorized Sony repair centre (Sydney) for repair at my expense. After a couple of months the screen staring becoming unresponsive to touch. I persisted with it but eventually a 1 cm strip at the top and bottom of the screen was not responsive making it impossible to use the phone. Rather then send the phone to Sony repair centre (Sydney) I got a new screen/digitiser installed locally (Townsville). This cost $200 but the new screen only lasted less then 24 hrs before it cracked. Local repair guy refused any refund. The Sony Xperia phones despite having a IXP7 rating are not very robust and have a well known fault with their screens. I have now purchased a Motorola Moto G phone which is IXP7 rated and much more robust at about half the price of what I paid for the Xperia Z3 compact.

Does both the front firing dual speakers work while video chatting or phone calls???
Because the upper one doesn't work on mine. And the lower one isn't loud at all.
