Xperia Z3 is a crap. It has a lot of overheating issues and when that happens, battery comes down as a lightning. There was a time when I charged it to the 100%, started playing FPSe emulator, and 3 hours later I was at 1%. 3 hours maximum Screen On Time. Think about it.
Using light applications like WhatsApp perhaps you get around 5 hours Screen On Time.
But playing games or using camera you get 3 hours maximum.
It could be because of an electric defect on the CPU unit.

anaz, 09 Mar 2016z2 or z3 ?Well, Almost everything is same bt camera performance is better in z2.. Colors look pleasant n well saturated compare z3's dull pictures.. Screen is more vibrant of z3 bt z2's camera captures better colors.. Z2 is also a bit cheaper than z3 n it has bigger battery.

don't expect too much on front cam. It's not impressive and I might say kinda sucks but it's battery is superb.

i had my sony z3 from augst 2015 , after wht they claimed that it is a water proof screen and maybe u can take picture underwater . i did that and now my sony is dead :D sons of bitches they are they don't have even a dealer here in lebanon to

Since i've updated my z3 to 23.4.A.1.264 my top speaker sounds lower than the bottom speaker. If anyone can tell me is this a software bag from sony, and if i flash the cell phone back to kit-kat, what will happend. Will this problem disappear with the kit-kat. Pls anyone who is having the same problem to tell me a solution what should i do ?

Sony Xperia Z3 is a remarkable product from Sony. It's indeed a waterproof & scratch resistant smart phone. I have been using it for more than a year now and a happy owner of this phone. It shows a superb performance even after multiple applications are running. Camera is good. Night photography is OK. Overall 9/10. Only challenging part is the charging slot as the cap is delicate and has to be carefully removed and placed back post charging. Have been waiting a long for latest 6.0 Android update for this model. I hope Sony releases it soon ....

Also it's all-plastic and lacks premium build, design is very drab and feels like a true budget phone. Performance-wise Z3 should be better with more RAM and SD 801 CPU. However moto has-

- almost stock Android
- better camera performance from same Sony sensor
