Sorry for my bad English Yes man, seriously lollipop is faster... I updated to lollipop 5.1.1 latest firmware (23.4.A.1.264) via Sony PC Companion... Also did factory reset and wiped cache partition (It clears its previous system files, but not your data)... If you update it as I did - you will see difference...
Mine works much much faster now:)) Only boot time is a bit long, but app opening and everything else is faster and smoother...
It is very well optimized and stable software...

My friend is iphone fan, he don't like android phones except Sony Xperia phones... He always said that Sony is amazing and recommended me to buy only Sony... And I bought Sony Xperia Z3... WOW:) it is really cool... I don't faced any issue... After upgrading to lollipop 5.1.1 it became even faster and smoother without any lag...
I tested with antutu and the benchmark score was 50747... In kitkat it was 43975...
And not only performance is perfect... Also camera is superb with natural colors and not oversaturated like crazy Samsung phones...
Battery life, no word about it... It is amazing...
I recommend this super phone to every careful user...

I got my z3 but doesn't take nyc pics yet it has 20.7mps yy??espicially when i use the flash #_Uganda

Why is about 50% of these reviews or opinions negative as hell, ive been using my phone for just a year now as my contract upgrade and its doing really well 4.4.4 kit kat was brilliant 5.0 update i will admit was an absolute failure but i see alot of comments sayimg battery issues and saying it jumps amd saying go to samsung but 5.0 android was a absolute failure so samsung, sony, motorola, and other big companys that received the update all suffered the famous galaxy's werent working with headphones, xperia's were battery and others were various, cause 5.0 was rushed so it wasnt completed in time, then 5.1.1 came out fixing these as i noticed as time went on it improved and it worked better for me, and moving on to the beta of marshmallow for z3 and its a compltely diffrent phone, i habemt the offitial release but its got alot of bug fixes, apps load faster, battery lasts longer, camera has faster focus, and is overall a smoother and great experience, i swear by mine, basically what im tryimg to say is if you find a fault with one thing on a system likely hood it may be on another phone, they all run diffrent systems, granted samsung add touch wiz ui (please do away with it samsung i know a few folk that hate it) but my opinion, but its the same base code of android, its like windows it can have a disc read error in the code, it dosent matter if its acer, sony, toshiba or dell its still gonna have that fault untill microsoft patch it, same goes for google with android

Had my Z3 for a year. At first I was very happy with it, then after a while it started falling apart:
- It's NOT water proof, the build quality is simply too poor. I ruined one Z3 taking it into the pool (everything sealed). Luckily the shop gave me a new for free.
- The battery gets too warm, which makes it expand (using 4K camera for 30 seconds). As there's glass on both sides, one will break when this happens. Broke 3 front screens and 2 back screens in 3 months due to this.
Sony will provide NO service at all and when it breaks due to overheating, which is a known problem with this Snapdragon processor, they blame it on a fall. Further Sony provides NO global service and they shut down most of their service centers. After calling/writing Sony more than 10 times and visiting 3 of their service centers, I just gave up.
This will be my last Sony product ever!
