This phone is terrible, I definitely advise against it. I have just taken it in for the 3rd warranty repair in under 12 months.The first time it basically just died on it's own, it stopped working and would not charge, the second time water got into the supposed water proof phone however luckily that was covered under warranty and then the heat hairline crack appeared in it, 3rd time unlucky with the warranty. This phone is not designed for normal human use and I will not be getting another sony phone!

z3 is not a waterproof its a water resistent so the they r poor quality with no warranty i m fed up that phone so plz dont waste any sony mobiles spc. water proof mobile :{

Battery is very bad, BUT what do I mean with bad battery? for me good battery would hold for about 2 days of almost nonstop use.. Z3 survives about 20 h of HARD use.. that means alot of games , non-stop WIFI or data, music, FB, films, YT.
before i bought some protection the screen cracked after a fall of a motorcycle at 40 km/h on asphalt. after buying protection it survived motorcycle accident in which i broke my leg. since that it survived many falls to the ground (weak spots are buttons and screen). it is a great phone.

AnonD-324989, 10 Jan 2016Sony Z3 is better built than even LG G4...Xperia Z3 is very delicate especially after 9 months use. Need to use very carefully if not hairline crack will occur even its fall from 1cm height. mine is still in sony service centre from past 2 moths still they are not respond visited nearly 10 times sony service centre no proper response very worst service and quality.
