        I updated my phone yesterday evening and have been using the same today. its faster and i havent noted any significant decrease in battery life

          I just updated my z3 d6653 to 5.1.1 lollipop. Everything is fine and I dont have any problems at all. It made my phone a lot faster and I can really tell the difference between 5.0 performance. Im from The Philippines.

              Hi guys..i own this phone..it is on 5.0.2 lollipop firmware..one annoying issue, this phone gets hot very easy at the back side of the phone, on any occasion i am using it..there is time i wonder if the phone will crack with such heat..to anyonr saying this phone does not get hot, they are lying..by the way, this is my only gripe about this phone..thanks..bye bye..

                The Xperia Z3 is a superb phone... BUT please treat it like a glass slipper because it is VERY SLIPPERY and it will break VERY easily if you drop it from no less than 1 foot. I had mine for about a month and 5 days when it slipped from my hand and if fell onto a plastic truck bed liner and the screen was smashed and the touchscreen was non operational.

                I had to return the phone and I am looking at a $200 USD bill for the repair.

                Aside from that major issue the phone is fantastic, works great, looks great, operates very smoothly, practically no complaints it just needs to be treated like GLASS.

                  This is the best phone in the Z series, using it since 8 months or so & haven't faced a single issue till date, its blazing fast, battery is superb, camera is awesome, dropped it once on a wooden floor facing the back but I use a back glass protector so the scratches came on it not on the phone, mostly keep it in my trousers pocket so no self cracking issues, by far the best Sony phone I've used so far.

                    think twice before you buy this.phone.
                    1. the ear speaker has some cracling sound (some are factory defect)
                    2. ip 68 is a nono. a lot of users complain after they dunk their phone in water after it they send the phone for service.
                    3. it is not shock proof. dont drop it otherwise it will break the diaplay.
                    4. the HD video recording will not last upto 10mins. it will shut off automatically after the cpu gets hot.

                    - im having this phone for a week now and im surprise that the specification i expext isnt that true. Honestly this is the secong phone because the first z3 they gave me is having a crackling sound and the phone overheats just after 3 days i bought it.

                      Dears
                      I have Z3 phone and I really love it but I have a problem with it that ringtone volume and other volumes are low compared to Z3 dual. I cannot hear it when it rings. I have done many times repair but all were in vain. Is anyone has an idea of how to fix it?
                      Does the new update 5.1 fix this issue?
                      Does "ROOT" fix this issue?
                      Knowing that my device is Z3 D6603 and I bought it from USA and I have a doubt that it came from Mexico as at the initial start up, interface language was in Spanish. I bought this device last November 2014.
                      Dears please help me how to fix it as I have a problem that I can't send it back to USA.

I done this step and I hope work..... UPDATE: SAME PROBLEM HIGH DRAIN BATTERY SPECIALLY IN NIGHT ............. MY OPINION INSTALL " Auto Air plain mode " and set your timer and i hope its work until Sony Solve it in next update
