I used Sony (Ericcson) phones from the start of cellphones and later on the XPERIA. My wife used one for 8 years and thought it was stolen and got another Sony. I never experienced any problems even with heavy usage. I never mistreated the phones. After almost 2 years I dropped my XPERIA Z3 accidentally. There was a problem with the screen that came loose. I lost some of the functions but I could still use it for about for 2 months. I handed in for repairs 2 weeks before the Warranty expired. It was repaired completely within about 7 days. In the mean time I used a Galaxy A3 2017 so I could compare and was able to choose between the two phones. My choice was for the XPERIA Z3. Their service was excellent and I was constantly informed on the progress of repairing process. That is why I prefer Sony.

Right now u are choosing the smartphones around the year 2014. And as what I heard of that year, XPERIA Z3 was the most heard smartphone and is also the best smartphone for that year, because of the camera, the performance and RAM, and plus the design was the most premium and simplistic ever made; as if it looks like it is from 2015. Get the XPERIA Z3.

I don't know which to buy some say Sony Xperia Z3 some say Samsung S5, and even recommend S6 and S7. i am tight budget and so far i see LG G3 is affordable. Can you suggest? Of cause I will not hold you responsible. My budget I have option to go for Samsung S4 or smasung 5 sony Z3 HTC One M8 or LG G3. Or maybe anyone can rank them as 1st, 2nd and so on for these 4 models Z3 Samsung S5 HTC one m8 and Lg g3

I had used it since 2014.
Pros : Awesome stereo speaker, amazing screen ppi scale, great speed with 3GB RAM (no lag), Sony has build in Music player, Video player, and also Playstation connection, quick charging, high battery capacity.
Cons : touch & vibrate issue

Well, it's finally happened. MY Z3 fell apart. The front screen glass has almost totally fallen off due to the glue dissolving. I immediately contacted my operator and received a new Huawei P10 in two business days. After one week of heavy use, I must say that the P10 is the BEST phone I've ever owned! And I have owned nothing but flagship smartphones from most manufacturers - even iPhone models!
I'm not here to bash Sony like some other posters have but I must admit that I have had issues with the Z3. It didn't age well in my honest opinion. Anyway, I will be moving on to the Huawei forum. I am done with Sony.
It was great being on this Z3 forum and reading posts from all you great members. Thanks for the 3 years! Be well! :)
