The phone is perfect between HTC M8, LG G3, Z3 i chose Z3 not regret very fast phone, excellent camera, great battery excellent display all u need in one place.

After 3 months of choosing, reading lot of bad comments, watching reviews between G3,M8 and Z3. Finally I got my Z3 last week!
What I did before getting it:
Water test: OK
LTE test: OK
Camera Test: OK
Checked all the Flaps: Tight!
This phone is slippery, but it's not a big deal for me because for sure you're gonna get a CASE for protection. I choose IMAK AIRCASE
To avoid using my charging port covered with flaps. I ordered xperia MAGNETIC CABLE with LED so that i could save my ports for the water proofing.
soon Im gonna get 64gb sd card for large storage.
Right now I'm learning on how to use the Camera properly on what setttings should be every shot.
Battery is good. I fully charged it Sunday Morning. Right now it's on 14%. Battery low feature has been activated.
For me I had the right choice.
When Z4 comes, I will choose the compact one.

Well to be very honest, i really don't care about the lollipop update as far as my phone's working fine, Z3 is one of the best phones i've used so far, it's been with me for around two months and i haven't faced a single issue till date.

Awesome: camera, speed, memory, 4k video?!! thin as a biscuit and waterproof. Do you really need this much processing power in a phone?!
Not so good: slippery as a fish without a case, box packaging seems flimsy and cheap and the location of the buttons makes holding the phone difficult - Sony should have copied Apple. Grip much improved by a good case such as Incipio.
In short, the hardware is unbeatable but, for a top-of-the range phone, Sony should put a bit more work into design and ergonomics, because I found it almost unusably difficult to hold without a case.

Beware 'SHATTERPROOF GLASS" as stated in specifications. Mine slipped from my pocket, fell approx. 400mm, smashed the front glass and made the touch screen inoperable. Avery fragile phone. No one wants to know about it, Sony / Telstra unless you have $300 for a repair as it not only the glass that breaks! It's going in the bin.

Xperia sp user don't be upset for not receiving kitkat. I used CM kitkat and the performance of gaming became low. Also wifi signal became weaker. I think sony did the right thing, if they provided kitkat with bad support, you would be even more angry.

won't ever buy a sony phone after what happened on SP. promised update to 4.4 from the launch then ditched it. they don't even fix the ambient sensor problem, shame on you sony. they do this to every phone from X8 era, best support my ass.

I have galaxy note 4 and Xperia z3 and both are awesome
