Hey all,
I have Nokia N8 for 3 years. I was using it every day. I am saying to it farewell without any scratch on the screen. It still looks like the day I bought it.
My wife has Samsung galaxy S2 i9100 about 2 years now. It fell off the 5th floor on the pavement a year ago and the only damage was on the lower right corner a small part was twisted - still using it without issues.
I bought Sony Z3 D6603 five days ago as a dust and water resistant device – probably so. However for this time I have already a scratch line on the front and one on the back, both long about 3 centimeters and small scratches lower on the back. From my point of view even if it can sustain a sand storm under the ocean and continue to work, it will look like a crap on the outside.
Very low scratch resistant!
I am very disappointed!

Crap consumers...

This is by far the best phone I have owned in my life. My first phone was a HTC Touch Pro 2. It was a reliable phone and it was operating smoothly. I then upgraded to an iPhone 5, which was a big mistake. I dropped my HTC a total of two times in the time that I had been using it for. I dropped the 5 once and it shattered. I then went for the Samsung S4. It was okay. Smooth operation, but I didn't really like the customization or the design. Then came Sony. One of my friends had a Sony Xperia Z1 and it seemed great. I was going to get a Z2 but the Z3 was rumored by the time it became available in the US. So I got the Z3 and it is the best android on the market. The extra gig of RAM is quite evident in the operation of the phone is much better than the iPhone or the S4. Personally, I love the Sony Small Apps. It is a great little feature that has some great downloadable apps. My only complaint is the lack of cases that are available for the Z3. I looked for an Otterbox, but it is only available for the Z3v, which has different dimensions. Overall, this is an awesome phone.

WHAT??? I bough my fiancé a brand new Z3 EXPERIA and its so called unbreakable screen broke all by itself 3 days after paying a fortune for it! I sent an e-mail for advise & refund & I really hope that it will be taken into consideration (loved the mobile, loved the features, loved the camera, loved the softwar and I would like to think what happened with me is simple a manufacturing defect).
I really hope that SONY will stand for its reputation.

akshay, 24 Dec 2014im deciding to buy z3 or z2
is it a good choice?????Bro i used both, and now i am back to Z2, because of one reason, that is i got z3 for a price of 800 dollars, and at that time i sold my 420 Dollars, New at that time was 550 Dollars
Later on I found that,
I am missing the camera of Z2, my Z2 camera was great, i knew but it took me atleast a month to notice that Z3 camera is not doing as great as Z2, I was like comparing it to devices of my friend, well every one does :) to feel proud to have superior daily driver with them,
Well other then camera, their is 0.2 Ghz increase in CPU speed, my friend i did nt see any effect any where for this CPU increase, well it may be bcz 2.3 is capable of what we need, i then compared side by side, Z3 vs Z2 comparison,
my findings were
Z2 camera is Great, and beats Z3 (Front is though same for both)
CPU speed well both are same in performance,
Battery Same performance, both gave me 2 days when moderately used and ended 1.5 days when i used a bit more, and that happens in weekends when i play some excessive games :)
I do not know about others, Though i like the design of Z3 and at start i thought it is going to be less slippery, well it is not, as i often almost had chances to drop, but luckily saved, so
Finding out these details, i decided to re buy Z2 brand new again for a price of 420 dollars along with a bluetooth speaker free with it, and sold my Z3 for 750$ to one of my friend and gave him that speaker i got with my Z2\\
So that a deal for me, i got my money saved, and i think Z2 is the best competitor of Z3 itself and it beats Z3
While I say this i will tell you two things to consider before going for Z2 over Z3
Beside i went for Z2 again, i will tell you to keep in mind,
extra weight of Z2
its screen is not as bright as Z3, but for me its quite enough and belive me its not any bad, but just sony has to do something better for new release :)
So with these minor differences, i could not compromise the camera and yes extra 330 dollrs difference that i got at the end, so i went for Xperia Z2, But yes if Sony drops price for Z3 and you get both of these devices for almost same price(in case of Z4 launch, when Z3 gets old) yes, i would say for that price you can go with Z3, but with this much price difference, you are not going to get any thing, worthy for your extra money

I just got my Xperia Z3 2 days ago, all I can say is, this is the very best phone in the world. when I got my Xperia Z tab I was like, this is the best from Sony, after that I got Xperia Z2 for my wife, I was like wow, Sony is really the best, this is a very nice phone, and now I got Xperia Z3 for myself, I don't know what more to say about Sony, Xperia Z3 is just the best, the very best phone in the world, this is a machine, a real machine to have. once again, thank you mr Sony.

Had this phone for now like a month. All i can say is I love it. above all i would praise battery power. am a moderate user and have to charge only once every 3-4 days.
