Some of my friends having Xperia... moreI also have friends with m7 and m8....
So I can tell you sonys UI is just better, equal responsivness with better looks
I quite like bigger icons in z3, and the app drawer is closest to stock...which is best in my opinion...
Faaar ahead of iphone6 s UI...
So you prefer laggish S5 UI over an UI with larger icons!?
Dont see a logic in that, but hey, everyone has a right to his taste
S5 camera is weaker than Z3, lots of comparisons all over the net, not better in features, not better in stills, especially not better in video...
Iphone6 has best camera...for a 8mpx shooter, but cant really compete to z3's...
About screens...z3 has one of the best screens out there, the brightest of the bunch for sure, if you dont like the setting you can always go to white balance display settings and make it more natural looking, just like on S5 as you say...
To mention sound quality and battery life...is only a surplus above those all

And I m very familiar with Sony ui ,
New ui on Z3 is downgrade , that big icons are looking cheap , also App drawer button is looking like stock android now .
About S5 camera , its really better camera .
About over saturated colours ,
In phone settings-display , there are many modes like Adapt display , Movie mode , Camera etc...
So u can get Natural colours in S5 also .
I already know , S5 is crap phone ,and sometimes lags , but I still prefer S5 over Z3 .
Best phones are iphone 6 and HTC M8 both .
But M8 camera isn't that good

Moreover, Z3 is higher waterproof level than our Z2
My Z2 and my cousin Z1 are used with charging dock for charging battery
Everything is OK
My cousin have used z1 for 11months and my Z2 six months
We are very happy with Sony talent!

You have difficulties in using camera features because you have never touched Sony premium smartphones:)
You are not familiar in Sony UI and innovative tech of Z3
Because, you have full experience in cheap plastic phones with laggy UI with prong
Firstly, you should buy Z3 or Z2 and then tell about them:)

I wont comment on z3 since my z2 is the last phone i'll ever buy from sony.
The service center is sucks. The authorised vendor for repair works do a Very lousy job.
I just bought my z2 in june, till now i've face 2 major problem
1. Just after 1 week, i notice The magnetic dock isn't charging correctly. Sent it to the service center, they have to replace the port on my phone. Take them nearly 1 month to get it done. I deem for a new phone (before i go to the service cwnter) since i've been using it for a week but was denied.
2. Today i tried to take some pictures underwater (in a water container to be precise. Not more than 30cm. Not more than 1 minute.) guess what i got? Water bubbles on the back camera n the flash.
I've talked to the xperia support center. And the answer is still no 1 to 1 replacing.. They ask me to sent my phone for another repair work again..
Why should I, the customer, have to bear the cost n hustle of unable to use a phone because of sony's mistake..?
TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY I PAID.
N TRUST ME, I'LL GET RID OF THIS STUPID PHONE ONCE I GET IT REPAIRED.

Iphone6 is best phone right now , only the bad about it is , iTunes dependency
iPhone 6 > HTC M8 > S5>= Z3

Even my Z2 is better better than crap s5 with poor battery life
Moreover, Z2 and Z3 have 3g RAM!
s5 has only 2 g RAM like other Chinese phones
And touch wiz and gimmick features eat more RAM and you can get a little (0.8g RAM) for your daily use
So, s5 is a laggy phones with low quality performances
In chipset, s5 use dummy Exynos chip mixing to the snapdragon chip
One lineup with two chipset means, Samsung make fake version itself!
In waterproof, if we are close carefully the flap cover, Z2 and Z3 have amazingly water tight!
So s5 is a competitor of Huawei, and ZTE phones:)

Here in India , Service centres of xperia are Worse .
Apple,Samsung,HTC are better .
Z series are king of Overheating phones ,
Other phones are overheating Less compared to Z series
Display of Sony LEDs are excellent and best ever ,
I really can't understand what happened to the Xperia phone displays . they are worst compared to apple,Samsung,htcs
People complaining Townwiz Sucks ,
But for me Ui of Xperia Z3 is worst ever compared to all .
Flap of my friend's Xperia z2 was damaged within 4months , And he need to pay 500 rs. Even through under warrenty .
People should go with
1- IPhone 6 perfect phone
2 - HTC one M8 best android phone
3 - Galaxy S5 (for awesome camera)

My Sony Xperia Z was water resistant for the first three months. After that I had to send my mobile to service.
I think the best what every proud owner of Xperia can do is to use wireless battery charger.
My next phone will be Xperia Z 3.

Today I used Z3 for 30 min. And here is my opinion.
Sound of Z,Z1,Z2 was very low , in Z3 its improved a bit but still not up to the mark.
Display of Sony phones are worst ever .
Its washed out display and colours are not attractive at all which I have expected for 50k phone.
I found iphone6/5s , Galaxy S5 , HTC M8 Display much miles better .
Camera - not as expected as advertised ,
I found Galaxy S5 and Even iphone6 8mp camera and also Video Recording better
4k recording is useless completely , Takes space like hell , Overheats phone.
And u can not See 4k video looking better than 1080p on the screen of 1080p resolution .
Sony ui , its much worse than what was on xperia Z,1,2
Bigger icons are looking so cheap .its even worse than Touchwiz crap S5
Phone is not fluid like iphone6 and HTC M8
Sony Z,Z1,Z2 , C3, T3 etc. all are looking almost same , no difference at all
Even Samsung S2,3,4 Note 2,3,4 .
HTC one X , m7 , m8
iPhone 4s,5,5c,5s,6
I can easily tell difference by looking at phone but at Sony phones , not at all .
They are not comfortable too by Edges and also I hate software buttons .
Conclusion -
I prefer even galaxy S5 over Z3
S5 is also not fluid at all
I m confused between iphone6 and M8
Not look at spec. Shit .
Iphone6 display is looking so much attractive , Best colours reproduction ,
Best brightness , Best Sunlight visibility , phone is So much fluid .
Ui is so great and Attractive interface ,
No need at all for Customization ,
Awesome Video recording and camera ,
Awesome build quality and hands on feeling , Super fast loading of apps ,specially games , Superb frame rates and metal Gaming , perfect Touch I'd and apple pay , Great multitasking even through 1gb ram , CPU is mighty in real life etc.
HTC M8 , phone is fluid compared to all android phones , having great display quality , nice build quality etc , nice look .
Plz don't tell me about water proofing ,
My friend owning Z2 was playing with it in water for fun , and it got water damaged , strange really !
This was honest and true opinion
