Camera is the same ( same pixels count, only minor tweaks), form factor the same only a liitle smaller and thinner, display is the same ips but with improved brightness agains losing color representation ( calibration is off).
I think is a very good phone, but i see no innovation when i compare it to my z1.

(1) Decent Design (2) Superb Display with talented colour engine
(3) the best camera (4) excellent performance
(5) Active hard wear and soft wear and best audio quality

Have my z3 almost a week. Previously from m8. Z3 is good phone.battery real awesome it last me a day as I'm a really heavy user. Screen time on is about 6h20min. Fantastic phone. For the speaker wise.although is loud but I will say m8 still slight better than z3. Overall I recommend this piece of monster.

the battery life is worse, build is worse, camera is worse, sound is equal, doesnt have the features this one has, 1gig ram less...
Although a good phone...
Would rather go for m8 Eye...if I was a htc fan

go for htc one e8,it's very very better than z3.in benchmarks E8 squashes z3 and in battery test E8 with 2600mA gets you more time call.z3 only has IP certification against htc one E8 and nothing more. but E8 is better in all other items.go for htc one E8 with no doubt.
