Why people compare between note 4 & z3? Sony didn't release any phablet yet.if they release any phablet,then come to compare.better you should compare z3. With s5,m8,g3,iPhone 6 & 6+.

if u r planning to buy this phone so plz. dont do this mistake .i used z2,z ultra...and i know it very well that the sony looks gr8 in hands but at the end everyone needs gr8 features which only NOTE 4 has ........i had z ultra and note3 at the same time.but performance wise sammy is much much better........SO GO FOR note 4 .its a masterpiece of this era........

For the first time i see the ISO 12000 in a waterproof smart phone. I have sony xperia z2 and samsung galaxy s5. Sony xperia z2 very fast and unbelievable perfomance than s5. Camera and display is marvelous. I VOTE TO SONY. make believe

[deleted post]Here we go.... a die hard Sony defender! I admit that if Xperia Z3 Compact is much better than Galaxy Alpha (except camera) but I don't think Z3 is better than Note 4 which has robust specs. Yes, Z3 is far better than iPhone 6 but it's not much better than Note 4.

For all the people saying it is exactly like Z2 and this and that. I bet you would'nt say the same if it was Samsung or Apple. They have been making small improvements too, but they are overrated. Sony is the underdog. Sure they could have included more things. They are probably aiming to make the Z4 a game changer. If i had the money i would instantly buy this. Specially since they released some gorgeous new colors, but im happy with my Z1. Amazing Product, well done SONY!

jamy, 12 Sep 2014I think sony should change their policy if they really want... moreIts not unlikely that Sony will still introduce a high end phablet this year or early next year, that would be more in line with what Samsung is doing. Hope the failure of Sony doesnt scare them from trying the high end phablet market again, Sony must be smart enough to understand that the lack of LED flash was the only reason Z Ultra failed so badly. If the Z3 Ultra has LED flash and S805 with 3GB RAM and QHD display it is gonna bring them some profit, not generate losses like what Z Ultra did. Z ULtra is so cheap here now that its almost like free and still it fails to sell.
Further, i think Z3 Ultra at lets say 6.2 to 6.4 inches will be the best size for streaming PS4 games, but a QHD display may be a problem, for best PS4 compatibility it should be 1080p but then people will not buy it in the first place, 1080p is mighty thin already at 6 inches and not competitive with Note 4.

I think sony should change their policy if they really want to fight against Samsung & defeat them in market competition. Every year Samsung release two flagship device. One is s series phone & a phablet named which is mire powerfull than s series.sony also follow this tactics though they give a very little update that is not enough to draw the attention of customers. That's why they have to give big updates in their flagship devices.

For those hating on Sony for basically remodelling the Z2, it is true, they haven't really done much. But you must understand that the Z2 just came out in April this year and Sony, unlike any other company, releases a new phone every half year. It would be very difficult to improve a phone which was already the best it could possibly be (the Z2).
