The Sony Xperia Z3 comes with a 20.7MP camera that is endowed with a brand new, 25mm wide-angle "G Lens", which allows you to fit more in every shot, as per the manufacturer. We'll have to wait until the first camera comparisons before we can say if this has amped up the image quality, though.

I find no difference between this phone and the xperia z2 except the changes in the hardware department (the looks of the device).
Seriously, sony needs to improve now.

What a huge disappointment, why the hell isn't the snapdragon 805 on this phone? I was a huge supporter of the xperia z and z1 and z2 over all the Samsung products and I was looking forward for the z3 but now im really disappointed with Sony. I'm wondering why I should buy this over the note 4 when the specs of the note 4 are wayyyyyy better now

Pretty epic fail to launch a new phone that is more or less identical to the Z2 on the specs.. what do they think people want to upgrade to this one? it should be called Z2+ or something cause this is not an upgrade at all really.. snapdragon 801 in a phone today launch rofl...

Sold my Z months before and waited for Z3 release, but what a disappointment for its specs. Might as well wait for Z4 next year. Come on Sony, give us better specs for your flagship phones!

Plizzz... moreI see the xperia line as amazing phones, but i consider the Xperia phone at the end of the year as a small improvement not anything major, kind of like what the S line for iPhones are.if you want something major you can purchase the ones at the beginning of the year, that way you have a for a full year.

should have just called the z2 copy -.-
sony have set the release within 6 months of the z2 trying to play ball witht he other manufacturers but so far looking at the spec's looks to be a flop dont you think.
Plus this will just reduce the cost of the z2.

First change design and give sound output louder 🔊 than z1 and z2 and give new gesture features then ony z3 rock do something new z3 pls its request

mit, 29 Aug 2014please tell me guys why sony dont offer 20 mega pixel in a... morePersonally, i don't know why everyone keeps mentioning "superior" auto mode. I have an Xperia ZR, and will say that in 95% of conditions, the "superior" auto puts out pictures that are inferior to manual mode pictures in just about every measure...the other 5% of the time the pictures are comparable. Namely, as the light begins to drop lower than sunny weather, use manual mode :-)
If people would learn to use manual mode, then you can start seeing better photos out of your Sony devices. I compared the pics taken by my ZR and those taken by my bro-in-law's Note 3, and guess which one took better photos?
