Rishi., 15 Jun 2018i want to buy sony z3 on this August , but it is 2014 mode... moreDude, the only phone heating are those with SD810 aka the models Z3+, Z5 series. This one doesn't heat too much compared to phones with SD810 that can burn your hands lel.

June 2018 : Today i got a secondhand Z3 running Kitkat for dirt cheap USD25 from a local dude. It is still lightning fast, performs better than my Redmi Note 4 MTK. Camera is still very good. 4K video recording is totally awesome. Mine is still in prestine condition with almost no scratch. This is a totally value buy, worth every single penny. No overheating issue.

kerop, 26 Jun 2018I bought the z3 as an update of my beloved z1. Well the z3 ... more: Well get a Rugged Dual Layer case and a good screen protector like I did off ebay for around $10 Canadian. Never carry your phone around without protection that's just plain dumb and costly. Ordered mine the same day I got my Z3 and I've dropped it many of times now and no damage at all...

I bought the z3 as an update of my beloved z1. Well the z3 survived only 6 months. The front display detached once (the glue didn't stick well), I changed it, I dropped it once and it cracked, I changed it again, it cracked again in my pocket. The display is definitely weak, the battery lasts half what it lasts on the z1. I'm considering buying again another z1, 5 years later. call me crazy..

Z3 design is very flaw, for the last 3 yrs since day 1 the front and rear screen cracked easily and been replacing it ever since. Other makes is a better buy.

which is best in battery backup, low heating, best camera, no laggy, everything in heights,,,

: Bought my Z3 mint condition with Android 6.0 in January for $120 (Canadian). I did a factory reset, got rid of the Sony bloatware added a 64 gig sd card. I watch music videos, take lots of pictures, play lots of music onto my Sony SRS-XB3 via Bluetooth in the back yard. It holds a charge for a long time and Never overheats. I luv the design and the bezels don't bother me (hate the notch) so I'll be keeping this phone for quite some time. None of the new phones have what I want and the Z3 does. Their either missing the 3.5 jack and or radio which I like to listen to a ball game once and a while when I'm out. So if your thinking of getting a Z3 don't hesitate cause it's still an Awesome Cell Phone !!!

I'm using android 6.0.1 latest ver... moreyeah me too...absolutely good phone. one of the best i have used so far coming from apple 4, 5s, 6, 7, samsung s4, s5 , s6 , s7 the rest are al good but this is my first sony been having it for 3 years...very strong and relaible

if yes, then which os are you using now, actually i want to stick with kitkat, because it is best to look, i dont want to update ,, kitkat ui is nice and kitakt is better in batterylife camera photos in my opinion,, an u say about the battery back up,,and screen on time ,,,

No heating unless u play games for long time or record video for very long. This is not Z3Plus where the heating is terrible. So go for it. No regrets

but it is 2014 model, LTE version, kitkat,,,does all apps works in this mobile, whatsapp, fb, etc all apps ....but i am afraiding about heating of this mobile
