darkraver, 27 Nov 2014Z1c is still a perfect compact phone... Go gor it... But ... moreThe power pf z1c is superb. Comparable to z3c. But the screen is jus 0.3inch bigger than my current phone. I think upgrading with such a screen do not cut off these days. I want 4.6 screen and above. How about Z1?

And Z is a better phone than z1, by far, z1 is the poorest crap ever to come out, big heavy ugly with 4 hours battery life. If you think Z is outdated you will be surprised if using one, its a very fast and smooth phone. Somewhat bad battery life is the drawback but all in all the best phone at its price.
Z3c, a very overpriced midrange phone, not worth it.

u won't feel any difference in performance

im from philippines and i want to buy a phone and choosing between z, z1, z1c. z has outdated specs for me. z1 has powerful specs and very fashionable with its glass back but i find it too bulky/big. z1c has a powerful specs too and better battery life due to the screen res which is 720p among the rest. but i since i'm currently owning a galaxy s duos phone with 4" which sucks and lags a lot, i dont think i'll be satisfied if i get a z1c which is just 0.3inch bigger screen than galaxy s duos. Then I went to the store and held the Xperia Z3 Compact. After holding it, it felt really amazing with just a perfect screen size and trendy design. but when i checked the price, it was just very expensive! here in Philippines, Z 16,900 pesos. Z1 20,900, Z1C 19,900, Z3C 25,990. I wonder, what month would the price of the z3c drop?

Do we have to hold the phone in a certain angle to make the proximity sensor to work during calls?

Hello all, I recently upgraded to this phone from a phone of about 7 years ago so still in awe of the new advances with apps and specs of this. Just a couple of questions.
What is the ideal sd card used for this. Keep on reading 64gb for optimal speed but then going for 32 or 128 gb for flap something. Not sure about this.
What type of protections did you guys go for?
Last one is how to turn off the notification sound when reading new messages from default messaging app.

#1 it is dust and waterproof ideal for mountain and beach adventure
#2 long battery life (can charge the battery 60% in just 30 minutes
#3 camera 20.7 mega pixels large sensor among all smartphone camera sensor better for law light conditions photography
#4 pocketable phone only 4.6" inches screen not so big not so small just in the middle size
