It is normal that the phone reboots when you removed the sim. You may try it on other sony android phones.

AnonD-8044, 26 Oct 2014I have 5s and have been on GSMArena charts comparing its ca... moreyes it have better detail thant iphone (i compared with a iphone friend) but the color in iphone are reproduccion (mb cuz they are more intentionaly vivid and not like xperia z3c want to look like DSLR) i change my iphone 5c to this cuz i really hates ios8... its like breaks my phone... i never was a iphone or android "fan" just wana a phone with good specs.. (not im paper just real world. good performance, batery, camera, screenn)

I have 5s and have been on GSMArena charts comparing its cam with Z3C and most of time Z3C is better using 8MP mode.Although don't own Sony just yet it seems fine to me.Off now to do video comparisons.Up to now i think this should get handset of the year,,all the power in a proper smartphone size package..Also it has lanyard and notification LED and waterproof and proper shutter button and superb battery life over most other smartphones..
OK Lets be picky and say it has no xenon flash .

AnonD-8044, 24 Oct 2014Well i have read and read and ordered one yesterday.Had to ... morethe MP on a camera its not important i recomend u use superior auto mode (8mp) have nice post procesing and nice lvl of details (better than iphone 6). yes it have notification led. and the size its perfect al least for me.

perhaps you start blamin... moreits a glass phone if u buy a glass phone and let it drop it crack its logical... i sell my iphone 5c to buy this IOS8 its a shit... so futureless.. rare bugs like keyboard get stuck in middel of the screen? and after ios 8 some apps stop working (and i need to w8 the developer fix it) and battery its a shit

Many are complaining with different issues all randomly targetting the phone, if there is any single issue or a couple of them i wouldn't mind but all this seems very skeptical to me anyway thats my perspective don't care about yours.... This seems like a pretty solid phone
Anyhoo the sound is quite good although doesn't fill a hall with amazing god dang music, does the job it's meant to..

I've had the Z3C for the past two weeks. Here are my thoughts...
PROS
+ Great design, solid and well built, body doesn't scratch
+ Sharp, clear screen, for 4.6" 720p is good enough
+ Snappy performance, no hiccups whatsoever
+ Very good camera performance, daylight photos are great and night shots are decent
+ Incredible battery life, two days easily with moderate use, three with light usage
+ Water proof works, I've had it under running water several times
CONS
- Gets hot after a while, but doesn't dangerously overheat. That's my only real dislike with this phone
- 16 GB internal storage can run up pretty quickly, so keep all media on the SD card since apps can't be moved
- The double tap screen feature works, but sometimes when it's in my jeans pocket it swipe opens by itself
