Gorgeous phone but weak screen and plastic surround. I bought one because the iPhone 6 (I currently use 4s) is too big and expensive, and because I work in wet and dusty environments. I love the phone but after 5 days in my pocket, the plastic collar around the screen (supposed to be protective?) is chipping away, and now the screen has cracked and doesn't work. After googling, this seems to be a major problem with experia phones (even featured on watchdog on BBC!), though I must say my girlfriends Z1 C is much better built and she's had no problems so far. I think the craze of "thinner and lighter" is a bad one, my 4s (now in use again as z3 won't work), and her z1 C are well built, aluminium phones with a nice heft. The z3 is flimsy in comparision and obviously cheaply built. I'm sending mine back to Sony, but expect to be hit with a bill for the repair. I've still got an old (about 20 yr old!) 14" Sony tv, had 2 play stations and a T68i, loved them all, but will never EVER buy Sony again. Anyone know the best small decent spec android phone? Thinking htc mini or Samsung, but I know they're cut down spec wise, might buy a 5s and see if I get 5 years trouble free like I have from my 4s :(

I usually only have the phone on for around 14 hours a day. Sometimes calls, sometimes internet, esp google maps for directions to get to places.

Finally i can upgrade my galaxy s3 to z3 compact. I know baterry is not everything but its a deal breaker for me as well as external memory. Sony captured my preference this time. Congrats sony, I'm on board

Better camera in both low light and others {but lacks sony's features}, the iphone has more style and apps and a more better audio output. I'm going for the z3 compact just cos of budget

and even lg g2!!!!!!
