After 17 months I ended up at the screen to change after the collapse of the private touch gradually top of the screen when quick shortcuts and then touch the lower keys. Is this a common holidays a year later in the series Z3 phones because I noticed it in Okthelr of complaint to others. How surprise was shocking to me because of the increase of the price of the screen outside the security it is unfortunate that the equivalent of one-third of the price of a new phone fully guarantee the agent within my Egypt . How I'm sad , my Sony

Binni, 03 Aug 2016Hi can anyone tell me where I can get some sort of case or ... moreThe best cover/case is by Incipio out of Southern California. Have used this company's products on both of my Sony Z1 Compact and Z3 Compact for 4 years. Front and back glass in perfect shape.

Have had 4 Sony phones - One Go, 2 xperia Z1 and now a Z3, bought last year. Or actually don't have it, cos the phone dropped out of my pocket onto a wooden floor and the screen scattered - like in splinters! This after the battery hardly stands for a day, the camera is so scratched despite their own protection cover, and charger cover can't close and the microphone doesn't work. So back to the Z1, which cant hold battery more than 8 ours and where a broken screen means no more usage (unlike z3 that still works a little). The bests phone was Go...since then all Sony phones have been shitty quality, and evenn the Sony store told me NOT to buy a z5 as the back cover breakes. Sony gorilla glass is like fine dining crystal glasses...so DON'T waste money on them even though the system inside works nice!!!

Great phone had it for at least over a year now and never failed me. Also, the pictures it helped take were quite lovely. Battery long lasting and wasn't afraid to use it out I'm the heavy rain! Only down side was that it would get quite hot from play videos or games but nothing I haven't seen in other non-flagship phones. I'd Recommed it (:

Turns out that Sony is cheating with that 'incredible' battery life. If you install some of the battery monitoring tools, you'll discover that they are in fact overcharging the battery to 4.3 volts, getting some addidional capacity while decresing battery life twice if not threefold. You are not supposed to charge lipo to more than 4.2 volts.

I've had this phone for about one and a half years now and during this time the headphone jack socket has failed me twice and the back panel accordingly cracked itself due to uneven pressures under the glass :D

                              Well premium quality they say?
And I've never even dropped my phone,I also have a glass screen protector and a plastic case.
                              This phone is damn fragile...

In line with previous comments, I wouldn't recommend this phone. The back camera is very poor considering it's 20MP and the front one is totally useless. The glass screen is incredibly fragile and it's cracked for the second time in the space of a month. And once the glass cracks, the whole screen becomes totally unusable. I'm cutting my losses and gonna sell it for spare parts. Disappointed.

Don't buy this phone! BAD CAMERA QUALITY even in high res settings and latest software update (too much exposure, blurred images, can't even capture moving objects). My phone's TOUCHSCREEN FAILS after 12+ months when warranty expires lol. A lot of XZ3C users are complaining online about the touchscreen issue. Useless phone after a year of usage.

I am highly disappointed with your Xperia Z3 Compact phone. Earlier I had an Xperia P phone which was really great and this is the reason why I decided to buy a new phone not only for myself but also for my 12 year old son from the same brand. Unfortunately in mine the vibration did not work from the beginning, the charging port stopped working also relatively fast (now I use the magnetic one which means I had to buy an extra charging cable) and now after over a year of using it the screen cracked (the phone did fall, but so did my P, a couple of times actually, and nothing happened). But that is nothing compared to my son’s phone – it was repaired after the purchase twice – after only two days of use the back panel started ungluing and then when the phone was sent back from the repair there were some problems with the internet so it had to be sent back (it was a birthday and Xmas gift, so imagine a kid who got a present like that and was unable to use it at all for the first month or so). The screen got cracked twice – in spite of having been replaced with an original spare part which was also not particularly cheap. For the first time it actually fell, but for the second it was carried in a front pocket in a protective case and it had protective glass on it. These are not cheap devices, and they are meant for portable use, so how come they are so faulty and fragile? I expected much more of Sony. The company has just lost itself a customer and a promoter – because I did praise you a lot for Xperia P, and I will do just the opposite for Compact Z3. Sony logo has always made me think of something superior, of innovativeness and reliability, but from now on it will only make me think of disappointment and my child’s frustration related to something that breaks so often even though it is not his fault.
