I have the Z3c for 1 year and 3 months already and I didn't have any problems! Until 2 days ago when I could not swipe down my notification bar... :( it is really frustrating because now sometimes it works sometimes not. And I have to swipe down multiple times until it works.

Jjj,I am currently running this beta and it is pretty fast,but it isn't too much faster than 5.1.1.
I am getting a bit of a lower AnTuTu score but probably because the device was very hot at the time I ran the test,and I do have the same battery life as before but it should be better for you because I have Viper4android which does drain battery

Water proof is a myth. Just fell into swimming pool (all compartments on phone closed properly) the phone is f#@ked!

Ajith , 10 Mar 2016 My Z3C's audio speakers are real poor in hear-ability. Low... moreAir gun high pressure (with care) or those Air bottled spray to clean keyboard. Is just dust I was frustrated but since I used the air gun sounds like new. Have look at internet where the speakers are. Good luck.

Man HTC is sending update to even e8 & Dezire Eye phones. I am feeling bad having to wait updates for Z3 series.
But the new update takes away stamina mode so now I also feel not so sure about it but I want the camera2 api too. Damn it can't make up my mind.

Gps doesnt work anymore after lollipop upgrade, no solution so far (6 months!), hard reset doesnt help, sony says i have to submit it to repair but they say i have to pay even if its under warranty!! A lot of people has the same problem, try to google "z3 compact gps issue" and check by yourself. No more sony for me

xperia sucks not really a waterproof device tsk and if it had damages better to buy a new phone than repairing it. Never ever trust this phone under water :( really upset with this malfunctioning phone.

sanju, 11 Mar 2016i have z1 compact it real good. but now i buy z3 compact it... moreI agree there! Z1C has better audio output and also better build quality. But... The Z3C has more refined design, not as chunky and odd as the Z1C. It´s also nicer in your palms. Improved grip of the handset. The Z1C feels a bit old desing-wise. (Sorry all you Z1C-owners out there!)
Z1C and Z3C is otherwise very similar phones. Shows there´s not much happening in the smartphone department of 2013-2016. I could have gone for the Z1C and saved some dough. I´m not a power-user so the only important thing for me is that they dont cancel updates for the OS. Newer = Hopefully longer lasting pleasure.

microphone stop working after 10 months. I can hear the caller but the caller cant hear me unless I talk on the speakerfone. Gave it in for repair , under warrenty, and got it back afrer 6 weeks. Authorised repair centre says its beyond economical repair. They say I damaged the SD card slot!! Whats this got to do with the microphone I ask. They say its abused!!!
I am so angry and dissapointed at Sony SA. I asked for proof, as my sd card works perfectly well. The fone was never dropped, and looks new after nearly a year.
They sent me a pic of my fone with a damaged SD slot. Guess what? I took a foto of the SD slot, and its not the one from the pic. AND... I gave my fone in for repair in January 2016. Their foto was dated 17th December 2015.. !!!

i have z1 compact it real good. but now i buy z3 compact it speaker not same like z1. it not gud batter if i use head seat .also compare with z1 z3 body not strong like z1 .

My Z3C's audio speakers are real poor in hear-ability. Low sound, both with speakerphone and ring tone. Very bad. Rest all good features

I have read about phone warming up but never read about screen coming out.
So U are either blabbering or have a defective piece.
