I had this phone for 6 months ... first the glass panel became loose and was about to come off..then the touch screen stopped working ..given for exchange

This is a perfect smartphone and all those guys saying that screen cracks and bla bla must be telling lies. I am using since 5 months and its a great phone without any issues. Those guys might have bought cloned Z3 compact. Pity on those people.

Maybe they are bitter be... moreSamsung used bad tactics against HTC, they hired people to write negative reviews of HTC and praise their Samsung products; they were fined but apparently it was nothing compare with the damage they could cost. Who knows if they're still doing it with other companies

Wow there are many trolls in here. Maybe they are bitter because their s5 and s6 lags because of touchwiz. And their s6 cracks. By the way japanese(sony) are better in technologies. While korea(samsung) are good in advertisments ans false advertising (google "samsung sued for paying people to write wrong reviews".

norm, 28 Aug 2015i notice many people comment about the screen very fragile ... moreThis phone does not crack. I am have it almost 9 months and i had never put any screen protector or a case.. I dropped it several times and put it under my pillow every night. It doesnt have any cracks nor scratch. I had seen my mother's iphone screen cracked because of the mere pressure by putting her phone under her pillow while sleeping.

I hear a lot of addvantage of this smart phone as follow:
Size, camera quality, IP capability, Sound quality, and so on.
Do you think I can buy better performance mobile phone with the same price?

Cracked 3 times already, this phone is a total nightmare!!! I want to get rid of it but 've spent too much money on it already

Retarded build quality. 3 times screen or back glass broke!
Then one time wasnt waterproof enough at shut down after just 20 seconds in the pool.
I got one to one exchange, but what a nightmare

Well I just migrated from Samsung s5 to z3 compact and my experience is as follows since using it past one week.
1. Much better battery life upto 2 days with normal use.
2. Handy size and fits well in pocket.
3. No lags and no hanging even after downloading lots of apps and games
4. Very fast and the body materials made looks damn sexy
5. Camera wise I feel Samsung s5 was better than Sony z3 compact
6. Body Covers can be difficult to find in market.
So I am enjoying it and there is no heating issues.

While this phone can perform very well and capable of running with no lag, there are many issues with it. The Z3C heats up instantly from the minute you start using it, no matter what you're doing. After Lollipop update, heating is much worse and the phone battery dropped ike 30%. Camera software needs optimization, it's sad that the Z3C with 20MP camera takes worse pictures than Samsung's 8MP camera. Also, the flaps tends to get loose after a while. Overall I will be selling this phone and going for Lenovo with monster battery.

I wanted to know if I update from kitkat to lolipop will it take up alot of internal memory space. It did for my Xperia Ray and I can only download a few apps. And another thing is does the front camera have the HD vibe?

It's smooth and strong, very handy. Fits perfectly in my hand. The one thing z2 wins that actually counts is the bigger display and fullhd but trust me Z3c display is beautiful you would not miss out much. Came from iPhone 5s this is my 1st android phone, never go back to ios again. Worth every penny, that little Z3c is a beast with battery. But anyways both are good phones you can't go wrong with any of them
