Excellent battery life. Excellent camera, easily beating HTCs flagships. And up there with the iPhone and Galaxy. Unlike other compact phones this keeps the high performance and specs of its bigger brother. Haven't noticed any lag whatsoever after 3 months of intense use. The phone is quick, you'll be surprised and no need to change the stock keyboard it's as good as any available. Baked in software is annoying but root to get rid. Listening to music is a decent experience even with the freebie in ear phones provided, if not as loud as some would like or indeed compared to my old HTC One M7. It's waterproof too. The screen specs isn't up there with some phones however it's barely noticeable. I'm very happy with this phone however here's some negatives. The camera when filming video will automatically shut down in hot conditions. One can't say the build quality is poor afterall it's waterproof. However the plastics and glass build makes it feel very fragile compared to the HTC Ones superior metal body. If using a plug in charger the opening seems to get less secure with time, it will still see the phone waterproof however you'll find you're pushing it harder back into its socket compared to when it was new out of the box. That said a wireless charger is available cheaply online that would see you only needing to open it up for the memory card. If only Sony would start using metal for the phones body. And it didn't heat up in hot conditions when videoing. Until then this gets 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Best phone I have ever had. No laggs, lovely design, I like that it's small compared to Z3, great performance, beautiful images even in low light, sound is great also. Only minus is sony app for music, a.k.a walkman.

Excellent phone, JUST NEVER DROP IT, NOT EVEN FROM 30CM:Result?= THE SCREEN WILLLLL CRACK - PERIOD. TO fix= half the price of the damn phone: no coverage on warranty!!!So, by all means go and buy this excellent phone and with it a proper protective cover!

Btw, if you have this kind of problem, STOP making others have a bad perspective about or making something like "DON'T BUY THIS PHONE" cuz who love this phone, he/she will definitely buy this, but someone who doesn't know, let them experience it. That sentence makes that phone user or anyone who wants it feels downed and have a bad perspective about it. Overall Z3C is pretty good phone. The best of its class.

It says that the phone can charge until 60% in 30mins but I charged my phone about 1hour but only 30%. What happen??

Hi I just bought my z3c last month, it's great..but then 2 days ago I upgraded it to lollipop v5.0.2, I noticed the battery's draining pretty fast by just browsing the net (100% to 60% in 2hrs) also it gets hot easily. Can I possibly downgrade it back to kitkat? Or should I upgrade it again? Suggestions please...thanks

I dropped this phone and got a small crack after which the touch stopped working. Apperently, according to the retail personell, this phone cant handle a single crack or drop without losing its entire functionallity (the touch screen), which I think is total bullshit mostly because they don't warn you about this. A normal smart phone is often able to atleast handle a minor crack without losing it's touch. Therefor I would not reccomend this phone! Once again a pity, as in all other ways this phone is great, but I feel that you shouldnt be punished by a 600$ fine just because the phone slipped from your hand from 4 feet up.
