It has better camera (tested several times under different conditions), better battery, better waterproof, alternative charging port (magnetic), camera button... Etc Now if you were to compare the S6 and want a large device that is a better option... Though more expensive

Hello everyone I need your opinionz, which should I buy, Z1 Compact or Z3 Compact?
Here in Malaysia, I cant get the Z1C for 240USD while Z3C for 370USD.
I really love the Z1C for its Pink colour but I don't want to miss the upgraded function of the Z3C, I am really sad that there is no Pink Color for the Z3C.
Do you guys think I will miss a lot by buying the Z1C instead of the Z3C?

Help me, 20 Jun 2015I want to buy xperia Z3C but have read a lot about its &quo... moreused this phone 7 month now..naked, didn't use any cases.. dropped the phone but no crack at all..
if you still worried about that "self cracking" stuff.. then i suggest you to buy other phone..

Ive been using my Z3 compact on T-mobile for 3 months now. I have the D5803 model. Too many good things to say. Works flawlessly and as long as you limit the background apps, the battery lasts for 2 days with a couple hours of online time a day usage and moderate texting. Has never locked up. I would recommend a good case because it is beautiful and slick. Would also suggest charging with the magnetic charger for ease and convenience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !
However... nothing is perfect... the LED indicator light is too small/dim. The video zoom is jerky. The camera is good but not an equal substitute for an actual camera when speed and ease are needed. But I rely on it for pics so much more because it is always with me.

One question: has any of you noticed that when you sometimes unlock the phone if you click on an icon rather fast afterwards it doesn't open at the first attemp? you have to click on it again...It is something that bothers me, I think it is related with lollipop using too much RAM. Hope Sony fixes it with 5.1

I have bought the Z3 compact and i am realy satisfy, if i have real vera about the phone, has no problem, although i have to say about the heat of the phone, i tried to open almost every app i have installed ( 15 ) and camera at the same time and music player, but turns off when i opened the camera, and in 5 minutes i getting warm, hot, no normal, but with 15 app opened i think its normal. the cpu is great, the screen has no problem at all. i recommand this phone. its great

I have been using the sony z3c for 3wks now. And all I can say is that the phone is AMAZING.. I forgot to buy a case nd I have droped it 3times nd no crack on d screen.. + d battery life is awesome. So stop thinking and just get 1.

It will turn off camera itself when it's too hot. Then I realised if I have multiple apps working at the same time, the phone begins to heat up too. Don't remember facing this prob when I first got it 3 mths ago.

I was previously using nexus 5 and after the lollipop update the phone crashed.Thereafter purchased the Z3 compact. Would like to know is it safe to upgrade to lollipop 🍭.... Genuine opinions please....

FOR ALL WHO DOUBT...DO NOT!
Before I tell you my experience with the Z3C, I would like to tell you my history on smartphones. Now even though I was aware of all the windows technology (PDA) my first experience was with an iphone (Grey Back). I thought for the longest time that, that is how a smartphone should be.
Years past and I realize that apple was SO BASIC and WILL NEVER CHANGE. They will continue to sell you the same crap year after year, so with that logic I was looking for something new. Windows never really "got" me but android was seeming more attractive. Which leads me to my android experience. My first phone was a Galaxy S3 and I HATED it. Coming from an iphone the UI was so sluggish and so..."blah" I tried forcing myself into liking it but could never do it. Honestly had second thoughts on switching but then played with a Nexus 4.
Stock blew my mind and was immediately back in love with the real {Android :-)} Never bought the phone because i thought it was old but did buy the Nexus 5. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but had 1 big problem...Battery. Now I was in the market for a STOCK UI but with great battery life. THEN MY LOVE THE Z3C SHOWED UP IN MY LIFE. Everything you need; almost stock like android, great battery, WATERPROOF like what can you ask for.
Sorry for the life story lol but all i got to say is do not always believe in the internet. I was EXACTLY like you waiting, doing my research but everything was GOOD. I DIDN'T EVEN BUY FROM SONY, BOUGHT FROM 3RD PARTY AND DROPPED IT TONS OF TIMES...
that was 9 months ago and still going...
Z3C best phone (for me) :-)

I had used this phone 7 months. Good performance, nice camera, works nice with Lollipop. Battery is good for intense use.
Despite being IP68 certified, do not immerse in water. I have seen the same model damaged in this way.
I recommend this phone, it is an awesome Android device. It has the exact size.

z3compact user, 18 Jun 2015mehh... please stop about that self cracking stuff.... i'm ... moreno hes right, i bought the z2 and it did this as well. dont get me wrong, amazing phones, but the self cracking is a well known problem people should be aware of before purchase. luckily it can be fixed extremely easily and cheaply, but its a bad flaw nonetheless.
