this is the first xperia flagship i own coming from xperia miro...
the sexiest too, good in the hand...
it has a lot to love about during its time, that i can write a blog about it...
i am currently revisiting it and see if it can still hold up to what i do now...
and check on its limitation as well...

Found a neat Android 8.0 ROM which has an awesome kernel built in. Pulling a week out of this smartphone, more than some "bricks" I had back in 2000's. I'm proud of you Sony, this one really holds up the trials of time.

Quite successful smarthone with a few drawbacks. The first is a fairly quiet sound, the second is the charging connector under the cap, which you like to break. It has pretty good camera with a good macro mode. The battery works well even after a few years.

z3 dual is amazing mobile , 21 mp camera , video 4 k the best video camera in the world , i,m using z3 dual since 3 years , i charge battery one time daily , i,m using 64 gb memory , i have onether mobile , and tablet , i advise all people to buy sony mobiles , my friends using c3 for 2 years it,s working very good , thank you sony fo hi quality product , i also using car radio cd player,dvd player all sony ,

This phone is an embarrasment to the Xperia family, experically the Z2. Over heats, lags, from day one i was never able to play any games on it or run any heavy applications. The most consuming game i was able to play on this phone (within the first week) was Soduko. Horrible battery life.
Please do not buy this phone thinking that it would be good simply because you were happy with your Z2. It is an extremely weak machine in comparison with the Z2.

Great phone. I have one and it is working well by 2 years (I had a IP68 problem in first month, but the manufacturer replaced the phone in one week).
My only remark is, it warm a lot on intense use (in hard games, 4k or in burst photo capture), the inconvenience (not a problem) is ti sometimes shut down the apk who is overclocking and warming the processor. Probably it happens due to the low refrigeration by using glass body - it's beautiful, but not functional.
I do recommend Sony Xperia phone family.
Premium finished, good hardware, good after market (warranty really works).

All you have written are lies, it all depends on how you handle your phone. I have being using this phone for over ten months now and no issues.

Worst phone I have had. I bought it in end of 2015. Dual SIMs never really worked well. Only one SIM would work with 4G technology, using the software data switch (you can only tap from internet data from one SIM card at a time). Had to change slots manually so as to use data from the other SIM card.
The on and off button stopped working for the third time. Had it fixed the past two times, but won't do it now. The lid for the charge has been changed twice already.
My current problem is with the touchscreen. Increased sensitivity out of nowhere. Had to use some apps to readjust it, but not enough to go back to its past sensitivity.
I was a fan of the Z1. Worked like a charm. The Z3, however, is a nightmare. It is not reliable at all. Don't buy it. Waste of money.
