this phone is owsome,, it is the only dual sim that has this high capabilitis ,, batary is very strong , having 50% power by the end of the day ,, very thin ,,very fast ,, no hang as samsung ,, no heat up to now ,,, the only disadvantage is the low volume ringtone sometimes i dont hear ,, i put the volume to max but still low ,, i didnt face any problem ,, if u think dual go direct to z3 dual

My first opinion about the z3 dual is that i found a mayor bug in it unfortunatly.
I bought 2 phones,one black and one copper version of the 6633.
What is happen is the folowwing.
After a while, the phone become very hot and the battery drains quickly.
That problem starts after a while after the initial setup and i was trying to track down the problem, so i did several hard resets with one phone to find out if probably tha sim card is influenced the problem as wel the micro sd.
The first sign of the processor gets on top speed what is likely the main problem of the battery drain and the heating up problem is that the clocksettings jams. As soon i try to set the alarm on my phone, i found out that the clock page freeze and after a few seconds the message that i can wait or close the clock.
As i already mentioned, at the first setup everything works perfect,but as soon you do a restart on your phone and opening the clock app you will find that the clock app will freeze and the whole problem can only be solved with a hard factory reset.
I contacted already sony and i will see what they can do for me.
First they suggest to do a full firmware update or so called a repair firmware update.
I will do this coming weekend and i will report my experience what that firmware reset will do and what effect it will have.
I wonder if other users have the same problem.
I can tell you that i have it on both phones.
One works with t-mobile netherlands and the other works on the vodafone netherlands network,so the simcard doesn't effect this behavior.
Hopefully the firmware reset will solve the problem because without this problem this phone is the best i ever had..

Sony says on its website ab... moreSony lies... z3 dual is dual standby only and moreover it is not working correctly... if one call is active - in some cases - the call to second sim is not terminated and still trying to dial... z3 do not notify about this in any way -> so you miss second call totaly, you do not even know that someone tried to call you.

The only problem with this phone is that when u connect bluetooth to your car dvr to play audio/music files. The phone detects all bluetooth devises as headset and therefore plays at minimal volume.
