Why do Sony and Google release their products so late ? I'm buying samsung galaxy tab s this week because i need a tablet and can't wait any longer for nexus 8 or z3 to be available in shops.

Finally!! A smaller tablet. Thiis is a good tablet but I'm thinking If Sony will announce a lower speced tablet named Sony Xperia Tablet E or E3...
Then it will have no ip rating but mid range spec will take the name... that's all!!

poor specs, amazon have just announced the latest fire hdx 8.9" tablet with quad hd res., 13mp camera with flash and s805 chip so why couldn't sony release their tablet with the s805 chip and a quad hd resolution, don't understand what sony are upto sometimes.

Bought today! If your preordering this tablet within the UK use the sony website. They are allowing you to add on the tablet case for 1p as a preorder gift. Anyway great specs, loving the PS4 remote play options.
