This tablets brilliant, head and shoulders above any tablet made by Apple or Samsung. Cost me only £220 last year and it's so powerful, being playing Nova 3, UFC and Real Racing 3, unbelievable graphics and no hint of any lag, the s801 chipset is utterly insane. You get what you pay for but with this tablet you get a lot more for your money, well done Sony.

My all dearest factwrting gsmArena followers and ffriendsUndoubtedly Sony is among highest quality brands that always cares for its products, updating, upgrading and after sales services!Frankly speaking,it is number 2 after Google!!About S3 Tablet Compact, everything is in its desirable standard from to top to the bottom that a smart tablet needs!!More important:It is jumping to android marshmallow and maybe tomorrow to the android N!!! However there are some shortages in some markets, but it is an appropriate smart device that I love to having it in my Virtual Grand Dream Museum!By the way,it is a good tablet for those whom like both qualities and beauties!!Of course, please don't forget to read complete scientific gsmArena,s reviews before any purchase decision-making!Thanks all Plus those whom enjoy technology electronic progresses....+Good luck.

After upgrading to Marshmallow I still can not make the sd-card a part of the internal memory to install games, often more than 3 Gb, on the sd-card as it then would be a part of the internal memory! Goodbye Sony!

After updating I try this way more than once, and nothing - only two ways ; 1) auto rotate, and 2) portait, and via menu nothing too. Perhaps he wanted one more restart after last updating and I do it few weeks ago, but did not look this option any more and I agreed with destiny. Thank You that drew attention :)

rainman, 14 Jan 2016Can you fix screen in landscape mode manually with Lollipop?Make sure auto rotate is in your quick access settings within the notification pull down.
Rotate your tab to landscape. Pull down the quick access settings.
Turn off auto rotate, make sure it shows landscape.
If you have further issues, go into settings -> display -> screen rotation -> smart screen rotation, and then turn it off.
Lollipop works fine. If facing issues do a factory reset after upgrading. Sometimes it's a must.

There is nothing wrong with Lollipop 5.1.1, if anyone has a problem they should contact Sony rather than telling others not to download it.

I´ve been using this tablet for a year now and kinda satisfied with it. The only negatives: the software. I hate sony´s philosophy to put a ton of bloatware into the op. system. Weak camera. The wifi hotspot disconnects sometimes. I think that the lollipop, just like the operating system is a worthless, disgusting something, so the tab is still on 4.4.4 together with my nexus 5. Despite the numbers, I found faster and smoother my nexus 7/2 tab. It surprised me first, but there are still enough power for everyday use in this sony unit. And still water resistant. I sold my original xperia z, because of the problems, but this one looks very durable. Nice, clean design. I´d say, I give 8/10 for this tablet overall.

As I've mentioned before my tablet is already on lollipop 5.1.1 and I've never had a problem. You need to download the update using either your PC or laptop, do not download it over the air as this always causes problems.
